Description

A cardboard cutout of Robert Koch. Koch was a revolutionary microbiologist and physician from Germany. He discovered the cause of infectious diseases such as anthrax, tuberculosis, and cholera. He is considered one of modern bacteriology's main founders. He has been called the father of medical bacteriology, along with Louis Pasteur, one of the fathers of microbiology. On march 24th, 1882, he isolated and grew the tubercle bacillus, which he thought was the cause of all forms of tuberculosis.
