Description
Here to take our riding to new heights, the Rocky Mountain Altitude is back and completely redesigned to bring us premium enduro performance. The new Altitude is equipped with Rocky Mountain's new LC2R suspension system that features a low-slung pivot and counter-rotating link design paired with a new one-piece rear triangle and shorter links to enhance performance going up and downhill. 160mm of LC2R suspension throws down gripping traction and improved small bump sensitivity over the previous Smoothlink platform for even better race-ready suspension kinematics. Rocky's revised Ride-4 adjustment system simplifies the adjustment range over their previous Ride-9 and gives us four distinguishable geometry adjustments to tune our ride to our preferences. The flip chip on the rear shock link lets us run a 27. 5-inch tire in the rear, making the Altitude MX compatible for faster turning, more agility, and improved clearance. A reach-adjust headset cup offers a 3-position reach adjustment so we can dial in our fit, and Rocky Mountain's new Penalty Box 2. 0 internal frame storage lets us store a spare tube, snacks, and tools inside the bike's frame. Finally, integrated protectors at the downtube, chainstay, and seat stay keep our frame protected, while a shuttle guard cushions our bike when in the truck bed. The Alloy 50 Shimano SLX/XT build of the Altitude substitutes in quality components fit for any rider. First up, Rocky Mountain's FORM alloy frame is stout and impressively durable to take on the rowdiest of riding. Shimano's mixed SLX/XT 12-speed drivetrain gives us wide-range 12-speed gearing to ensure we have the perfect gear for any technical climb. Shimano MT6120 4-piston brakes give us big mountain power in a simple package, and WTB ST Light i30 TCS 2. 0 rims are fitted with a Shimano XT hub in the rear for quality performance, spinning uphill. Rock gardens and sending it off small drops are no match for the Fox 38 Float Performance, giving us 170mm ...
