Yellow Granex PRR F1 short day onions are deliciously sweet, and are used as the typical sweet onion in Hawaii and the south. They are hybrids with white flesh that is extremely firm, and rings that separate nicely. They are large, usually growing 6-10 inches tall in a flattened globe shape. Onions are ready for harvest after 110-160 days, and do not store well after harvest. Use these onions to make sweet onion sauces and dishes of many styles.
