Description

Blond De Paris crisphead lettuce has a similar texture to iceberg lettuce. Leaves are medium green and large with frilly edges. Seeds can be sown in spring or fall. Sow direct or indoors and transplant after 3-6 weeks. Plant seeds .5 inch deep in soil in full sun leaving at least 12 inches between heads. Leaves are ready for harvest after 40-70 days. Their wavy texture makes them excellent for garnish or using in sandwiches.
