Water it about once a week with approximately 1/2 cup. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Snake Plant sit in water or saturated soil. When shipped, its about 8-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Snake Plant ships in a black, 4-inch grower pot. To help with water drainage, this container does have holes. Snake Plant is generally a moderate grower, depending on environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the products instructions. When Snake Plant outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly.
