Tips on making your eyes look bigger from celebrity makeup artist Jillian Dempsey

Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes

Want to make your eyes look naturally bigger? Of course you do.

So try this trick that makeup artist Jillian Dempsey (who works with celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Winslet) uses on herself all summer long:

"I line my lower lashes with a creamy brown pencil and then give it a little smudge," says Dempsey, who likes Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes because the waterproof formula doesn't crease or smear in the heat.

She keeps her upper lashes minimal: "I either trace a very thin line along my upper lashes or I skip them completely," she says, explaining that enhancing just the lower lashes makes your eyes look bigger. Plus, a full-on smoky eye can seem out of place when the weather (finally) warms up.

"A full face of makeup in the summer is all wrong," she says. "A smudgy line of a neutral brown is perfect for the beach."

Using the lip of a trash can as a writing surface, he scribbled notes on the back of his boarding pass, making the doctor spell out each unfamiliar word. Then he sent a terse text to his wife, who was at their home in the Philadelphia suburbs, and got on the plane. Onboard, Schroeder,

  • The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Is Losing Its Showrunner

It can be hard to pinpoint what makes a late-night show work so well with audiences, but The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon seems to have cracked the code. Over the last few years, the series has become one of the most popular late-night offerings, consistently dominating in the ratings season after season. While much of this has to do with the charisma of the man in front of the camera, it's important to remember those behind the scenes as well. With that in mind, it now seems The Tonight Show has suffered a major loss, as showrunner Josh Lieb has officially left the series. After serving as the late-night series' showrunner for several years, Josh Lieb has decided to step down from The

  • How Donald Trump spectacularly failed his supporters

At the start of his campaign for president, Donald Trump began to articulate a vision of American nationalism aimed at reviving the fortunes of the white working class. His core supporters believe that liberal immigration and trade policies are hurting them economically and culturally, so Trump promised to build a wall and reset the terms of global trade. Everyone on the American right comforted themselves that Trump would flame out like Pat Buchanan or Mike Huckabee. And yet, seeing the enthusiasm of his supporters, they were afraid to challenge him directly. So Trump quickly began
