Huggies Brazil tests ‘TweetPee’ sensor

Yahoo Shopping

Wondering if your baby peed in his or her diaper? Why not check Twitter?

AdWeek reports that Huggies Brazil is testing a new product that would attach to a diaper and detect when your wee one went wee-wee. The sensor would then send a tweet to the parent via a special Huggies app.

Yes, this is real, but don't get too excited. AdWeek explains that Huggies TweetPee is currently in the concept phase.

According to AdWeek, the TweetPee app will launch in Brazil in July. The app will, according to the statement that Huggies Brazil provided to AdWeek, "help parents better keep track of the volume of diapers they use and provide easy integration with online retailers to make life easier for busy moms and dads." In other words, it will make it easier for parents to buy diapers.

But anyone who loves the idea of mixing Twitter-enabled accessories with soiled diapers may be disappointed, at least for now.

Again, Huggies Brazil's comment via AdWeek

The clip-on humidity sensor is intended merely as a concept device to help showcase these 10 parents' experience with the app. It will not be made available for purchase, nor are we suggesting parents are unable or too busy to notice when their babies' diapers need changing!

Regardless of whether the product ever sees action on the front lines of diaper duty, the concept is something to talk -- or tweet – about.

Many of the effects of climate change are irreversible. Sea levels have been rising at a greater rate year after year, and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change estimates they could rise by another meter or more by the end of this century. As National Geographic showed us in 2013, sea levels would rise by 216 feet if all the land ice on the planet were to melt. This would dramatically reshape the continents and drown many of the world's major cities.

American Airlines on Saturday apologized to a female passenger and suspended an employee after a video showing an onboard clash over a baby stroller went viral, in the latest embarassment for a U.S. carrier over how it treated a customer. Facebook user Surain Adyanthaya, who put the video on his page, said in his post that the flight attendant had forcefully taken the stroller from the woman, hitting her with it and just missing her child.

Why do people think there is a set time to grieve? Life is too short to sit and pine. Memories will always be there. This woman has brought me out of my depression and sorrow. I can’t understand how people I thought cared for me could be so mean. I was told by the pastor and hospice counselor that grieving takes time, but what is enough time? I was also told to look at the marriages of these women. When I did, I realized that they were

    • After Their Flight Attendant Made A Mum Cry, American Airlines Reacted Perfectly

The days of "flying the friendly skies" appear to be long gone, but American Airlines is at least trying to fix the latest flight attendant controversy to go viral. On Friday, a flight attendant on board American Airlines flight 591 from San Francisco to Dallas heatedly scolded a female passenger travelling alone with two children for attempting to store her buggy in an overhead locker, reports ABC News affiliate WFAA in Dallas. When another male passenger came to the mother's defence, the flight attendant then reportedly got physical, threatening the man who had spoken up on the young mother's behalf before a pilot appeared and attempted to calm down the irate flight attendant.
