How to do your makeup in less than 5 minutes

Use multitasking makeup products

I'm a chronic snoozer but I also refuse to leave my apartment without makeup on. So on weekday mornings, the only choice I have is to apply said makeup at lighting speed. My roommate thinks I'm some sort of wizard, but it's surprisingly easy.

The first step is to make sure your beauty products are well organized. You don't want to be digging through a drawer full of loose products in a time crunch. That skinny eye liner pencil will never reveal itself—trust me.

Next, get into a routine with key products and stick to it everyday. The morning is no time to be experimenting with blue eye shadow or false lashes. Read on for the best time-saving tricks and products.

When in Doubt: Mascara

If you only leave the house with one product on, let it be mascara. It will instantly make you look more polished. Choose one that's both lengthening and volumizing.

Take Care of Your Skin at Night

Put moisturizers, acne creams and the like to work while you sleep. This way, you'll wake up with smooth and even skin that requires little work and product in the morning.

Right now I'm loving Kiehl's new Skin Rescuer that fights stress-related blotchiness and breakouts.

Ensure Good Lighting

I find that when I can't really see what I'm doing, I tend to put on way more makeup than necessary and often make mistakes. Fixing a clown-like blush job or uneven liner is not in your time budget.

Over the weekend, Indian Twitter found amusement in the not-so-amusing.  After China TV reported that Chinese troops would take only 48 hours to reach New Delhi in case of a war, Indians got chatty — and catty — about it. SEE ALSO: China is about to kick America's butt in renewable energy It all began when The International Spectator picked up the news.  And Indians spoke of the roadblocks, literally, en route to Delhi.  Some were funny anyway. And the rest were concerned. Rightly so.  And "realistic" we have to be. No one wants a war right? BONUS: Trump's 5-year-old granddaughter Arabella is huge in China

It's safe to say that Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are the celebrity couple we never knew we needed. We were still recovering from the fallout of Miranda Kerr and Bloom's 2013 split and Perry's 2012 divorce from Russell Brand when these two found each other. It was over a year ago that the pair was spotted canoodling at the Golden Globes after-party, sparking a firestorm of media speculation. Thankfully, it all turned out to be true. Bloom and Perry are still going strong, and we couldn't be happier. Seriously, if they break up this year, 2017 will just become an extension of its infamous predecessor, 2016. • Dear Abby: Why take photos of my dead mom?

DEAR ABBY: I am a 58-year-old female. My mother passed away in my home almost exactly a year ago. I took care of her for the last three years of her life. After she died, my brother and his wife came to my home at 1:30 p.m. The funeral home didn’t arrive to pick her up until 8:30 that night. Later that evening, after my mom was gone and my brother and his wife left, my daughter came to me and announced that my sister-in-law had secretly taken pictures of Mom in the body bag on the stretcher as she was being wheeled out of my home. She didn’t know that my daughter had seen her. I am furious, horrified and hurt beyond description! My mother always liked to look nice and made a special effort to

    • Belichick sounds like he's still hot about Rowe unsportsmanlike penalty

Bill Belichick was hot. When Eric Rowe came to the sidelines after committing an unsportsmanlike penalty that kept a first-quarter Texans drive alive on Saturday night, the Patriots coach was not shy about showing his displeasure as he addressed the second-year corner. On a conference call with reporters, Belichick was asked about a player trying to "do the right thing," referencing Rowe pulling players off of a pile to break up an altercation. That violated an NFL rule, gave the Texans 15 yards after they had been stopped short of a first down on a third-and-18 play, and allowed them to keep possession.
