How to do your makeup in less than 5 minutes

Use multitasking makeup products

I'm a chronic snoozer but I also refuse to leave my apartment without makeup on. So on weekday mornings, the only choice I have is to apply said makeup at lighting speed. My roommate thinks I'm some sort of wizard, but it's surprisingly easy.

The first step is to make sure your beauty products are well organized. You don't want to be digging through a drawer full of loose products in a time crunch. That skinny eye liner pencil will never reveal itself—trust me.

Next, get into a routine with key products and stick to it everyday. The morning is no time to be experimenting with blue eye shadow or false lashes. Read on for the best time-saving tricks and products.

When in Doubt: Mascara

If you only leave the house with one product on, let it be mascara. It will instantly make you look more polished. Choose one that's both lengthening and volumizing.

Take Care of Your Skin at Night

Put moisturizers, acne creams and the like to work while you sleep. This way, you'll wake up with smooth and even skin that requires little work and product in the morning.

Right now I'm loving Kiehl's new Skin Rescuer that fights stress-related blotchiness and breakouts.

Ensure Good Lighting

I find that when I can't really see what I'm doing, I tend to put on way more makeup than necessary and often make mistakes. Fixing a clown-like blush job or uneven liner is not in your time budget.

When Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz welcomed a son into the world, so did the characters they played on I Love Lucy. Lucy Ricardo gave birth to "Little Ricky" in season two. But real-life Lucy and Desi didn't want their baby on screen for obvious reasons, so they cast a wide net in search of a set of similar-looking twins. (Having two children alternate for one role helps shows adhere to child-labor laws that limit camera time for the industry's youngest actors.) Desi Arnaz chose15-month-old Joe and Mike Mayer based on a photo he'd seen of them at a Twins Club picnic, where their mother was president, the Idaho-Press Tribune reports. Pearl Moen, who was 17 at the time of the seemingly random November 2015 attack in Austin, Texas, will serve 15 years behind bars, the Travis County District Attorney said in a news release. Prosecutors said Moen’s diary entries show she stabbed her 23-year-old victim, a nurse, because she wanted to see what it would feel like to kill someone. Moen has a history of drug use and psychological issues but no previous criminal record, the DA’s office said.

1 1/23/2017 2:29 PM PST Barack and Michelle Obama have left Palm Springs, less than 3 days after arriving, and it seems they're on their way to Richard Branson's private island in the Caribbean. The former prez and Michelle boarded a private jet Monday morning ... a jet owned by Branson. The plane is bound for the airport a stone's throw from Necker Island, where Branson lives.Branson is involved in a slew of socially conscious causes, including deep concerns over climate change ... one of President Obama's passions. Branson has been a vocal proponent of Obamacare, and a longtime supporter of the president. Just 2 days ago Branson posted a pic of himself and the former president.

In her late 20s, Lisa Brown had it all—the 5'10" former model married her college sweetheart, had attended grad school, and loved to cook gourmet meals and take spins in a classic Mustang convertible. But at 28 she began to mysteriously lose weight and vomit after eating. By the time she stepped on a scale to check her weight, she was 112 pounds, down from 140 pounds, reported Good Housekeeping in 2015. Her eventual diagnoses a few years later? Superior mesenteric artery syndrome, a condition in which her small intestine was being pinched and not allowing food to pass through, and gastroparesis, which kept her stomach from emptying correctly, reports People. • Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are clearly moving on from their divorce in two very separate ways

It seems like we've spent enough time wallowing in sadness over Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce at this point that we can all start to have a little fun with it. Especially when news about their comings and goings post-divorce is still all some people seem to want to talk about, even though Jolie and Pitt are clearly moving on with their own lives. Us Weekly reports Angelina Jolie is developing her own line of perfume, which, I mean, good for her if that's where she sees her brand expanding. Will she call it Eaux de African Babies I've Saved? The perfume market definitely seems like an odd choice for Jolie's career expansion but, I mean, if Rihanna and Britney Spears can do it, why not

On Saturday, President Donald Trump excoriated the media for — in his view — massively understating the size of his inaugural crowds. “I turn on one of the networks, and they show an empty field,” Trump said at a speech Saturday afternoon at the CIA. “We had 250,000 people literally around in the little ball we constructed.” In other words, 250,000 people had been given tickets to the swearing-in ceremony, which is what the Joint Congressional Committee for Inaugural Ceremonies told CNN.

    • The NES Classic is back in stock at a bunch of Target stores right now

The NES Classic has been permanently out of stock ever since it first launched last November. Nintendo has been hustling to increase production to meet the unprecedented demand, and it looks like it might be working. Target stores across the country currently have the NES Classic in stock and ready for you to buy right now. According to NowInStock's Target stock checker, Targets all around the country currently have between 1 and 10 units on shelves. A quick check of areas around New York, New Jersey and LA show some stores with stock, so it's definitely worth putting your ZIP code in and checking stock. Target stores are reportedly getting daily stock, so if you don't find anything today, it could be worth camping out your nearest big Target early tomorrow morning. The amount of stock different stores receives depends on size and location, with big suburban stores near big cities normally being the best bet. There's also a rumor going around that ToysRUs stores are getting a huge stock dump on January 26th, which could be worth checking out. Right now, Walmart and Target are the only two physical stores getting any inventory, but it seems that Nintendo is slowly starting to catch up with demand. As more units have been coming available, prices on second-hand resellers on Amazon have been falling. While the NES Classic ran about $250 before Christmas, prices are now down around $150. That's still a huge increase over the $60 RRP, but it shows that the NES Classic supply is very slowly catching up on demand. To keep track on stock, you're still best off using BrickSeek  and NowInStock , which offer features to help you track and receive notifications for online stock. For your local stores, the best bet is still to try and call and speak to an employee in the releveant department, who may be willing to help you work out when stock will next arrive.
