How to do your makeup in less than 5 minutes

Use multitasking makeup products

(Use multitasking products / Photos courtesty of Benefit , Clinique)

I'm a chronic snoozer but I also refuse to leave my apartment without makeup on. So on weekday mornings, the only choice I have is to apply said makeup at lighting speed. My roommate thinks I'm some sort of wizard, but it's surprisingly easy.

The first step is to make sure your beauty products are well organized. You don't want to be digging through a drawer full of loose products in a time crunch. That skinny eye liner pencil will never reveal itself—trust me.

Next, get into a routine with key products and stick to it everyday. The morning is no time to be experimenting with blue eye shadow or false lashes. Read on for the best time-saving tricks and products.

When in Doubt: Mascara

If you only leave the house with one product on, let it be mascara. It will instantly make you look more polished. Choose one that's both lengthening and volumizing.

Take Care of Your Skin at Night

Put moisturizers, acne creams and the like to work while you sleep. This way, you'll wake up with smooth and even skin that requires little work and product in the morning.

Right now I'm loving Kiehl's new Skin Rescuer that fights stress-related blotchiness and breakouts.

Ensure Good Lighting

I find that when I can't really see what I'm doing, I tend to put on way more makeup than necessary and often make mistakes. Fixing a clown-like blush job or uneven liner is not in your time budget.

By Ayesha Rascoe and Julia Edwards Ainsley WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Donald Trump is preparing to sign executive actions on his first day in the White House on Friday to take the opening steps to crack down on immigration, build a wall on the U.S.-Mexican border and roll back outgoing President Barack Obama's policies. Trump, a Republican elected on Nov. 8 to succeed Democrat Obama, arrived in Washington on a military plane with his family a day before he will be sworn in during a ceremony at the U.S. Capitol. Aides said Trump will not wait to wield one of the most powerful tools of his office, the presidential pen, to sign several executive actions that can be implemented without the input of Congress.

  • I tried Whataburger, In-N-Out, and Shake Shack — and the winner is clear

The INSIDER Summary: • There's always been competition between the east and west coasts when it comes to burgers.  • In-N-Out takes the title as the best burger, but Whataburger's honey chicken biscuits are a solid bet too. Ah, the great debate of burger joints. If you're on the Eastern side of the USA, you may be more of a Shake Shack fan. However, for those of you on the West Coast, you may be more partial to some In-N-Out or Whataburger. Unfortunately for me, I am smack dab in the middle with many other flyover states, and close to none of these amazing burger joints. However, I do travel a lot and have had the opportunity to try all three varieties, time and time again (I just love burgers,

Western Union Co , the world's biggest money-transfer company, agreed to pay $586 million and admitted to turning a blind eye as criminals used its service for money laundering and fraud, U.S. authorities said on Thursday. Western Union, which has over half a million locations in more than 200 countries, admitted "to aiding and abetting wire fraud" by allowing scammers to process transactions, even when the company realized its agents were helping scammers avoid detection, the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission said in statements. With the help of Western Union agents, Chinese immigrants used the service to send hundreds of millions of dollars to pay human smugglers, wiring the money in smaller increments to avoid federal reporting requirements, U.S. authorities said.
