Nothing ruins a spring break trip quite like a bad sunburn, as I know from an unfortunate firsthand experience.

During my junior year of college, I went on a spring break cruise to the Caribbean. Within hours of leaving from Miami, I fell asleep while sunbathing on the deck of the ship and woke up to rashy, blistery third-degree burns on everything from my fingers to half of my face. I looked frightening, and felt even worse. I spent the rest of the week in the shade, wearing baggy t-shirts and clutching a bottle of aloe vera.

To all you crazy kids about to embark on a week of springtime sun and fun: learn from my rookie mistake! Here are 8 sunscreens that will keep your skin from taking on an unflattering lobster-like hue.

Kevon noticed a couple staring and smiling at him and his 3-month-old son, and although he was confused, he just went on with the meal. "I noticed this older couple over in the corner," he said. "They kept smiling at me and I was looking at my son like, 'What is going on?'" But when Kevon left the restaurant, it all made sense, as he saw a note on his car from the couple praising his parenting along with cash to cover his breakfast. "Today your meal is on my wife and me," it read. "Enjoy that baby as long as God intends.

    • Here's what Trump's executive order really means for Obamacare

In one of his first official actions, President Trump signed an executive order late Friday that directed federal agencies to use their authority to relieve individual Americans, businesses, state governments and others from “burdens” placed on them by the Affordable Care Act. The Trump administration and its Republican allies in Congress billed the order as a first step in their push to repeal Obamacare. So, does this mean the new president has scrapped the 2010 healthcare law “on Day One,” as he once promised he would do? Or is this just more talk from the new president? As with everything about Obamacare, it’s complicated. Here’s what Trump’s order did, and what it didn’t do. Has Obamacare

    • The U.S. Navy's Biggest 'What-If': Could Super Battleships Make the Ultimate Comeback?

Big ships with heavy armor are unlikely to solve the A2/AD dilemma. For decades, naval architects have concentrated on building ships that, by the standards of the World Wars, are remarkably brittle. The label “battleship” emerges from the older “ship of the line” formulation, in the sense that a navy’s largest ships participated in the “line of battle” formation that allowed them to bring their broadsides to bear on an opposing line. After the development of ironclad warships, the “battle ship” diverged from the armored cruiser based on expectations of usage; “battleships” were expected to fight enemy “battleships.” The modern battleship form settled around 1890, with the British Royal Sovereign class.
