It's coming and it's coming fast — the Super Bowl is officially less than a week away. For some of us that's a saddening thought, because either our beloved team didn't make the cut or we're dreading the end of the NFL season, but the Super Bowl is a time to party — with friendly wagers, friends and family, commercials, beers, and our favorite part, classic game day grub.

Quintessential Super Bowl fare boils down to those comforting dishes we have come to know and love during many Sundays glued to the television watching the big game. And yet, while we enjoy bottomless wings and heaping piles of nachos, we don't always have time to spend hours in the kitchen cooking before the game, especially when there's a huge group of people to entertain.

Luckily for us, there's a plethora of frozen fare that's fit for serving to a crowd. The frozen food aisle is home to tons of snacks, dips, wings, and more that bring the same great taste but take a fraction of the time to make.

With brands you've come to know and love, like Nathan's Famous, T.G.I. Friday's, Checkers, and others, it's easy to trust these products and give them a try at your game watch.

Our list of must-tries didn't appear from thin air; it's the result of scouring reader reviews on product sites and blogs as well as cornering the best-sellers. These party foods have been tested on a hungry crowd over a series of game day Sundays, so if they can stand out among cases of beer and a way-too-loud television broadcasting the games, you know they're winners.

We wouldn't get these from anywhere else but Nathan’s. There’s no comparison — maybe it’s the Coney Island in us, but no one does hot dogs like Nathan’s.

Amy’s Organic Macaroni and Cheese

This was a cult college favorite among my roommates but when it's made in a big batch and served for a big crowd it definitely fits the comfort food criteria and hit the mark on cheesy, creamy goodness.

Bannon is a proponent of the theory that history generally moves in 80-year cycles, with each cycle ending in a crisis that destroys the old order and ushers in something new. In widely reported remarks, Bannon believes the United States has had three “turnings”—the American Revolution, the Civil War, the Great Depression/World War II—and is now in the midst of another emanating from the 2008 Financial Crisis.

    • Why flight attendants prefer to work in economy over first class

Everyone wants to be upgraded on a flight, apart from the flight attendants it seems. You’d think the cabin crew would much prefer working for a handful of posh people in Business or First Class, instead of hundreds of flustered passengers in Economy, but it turns out that’s not the case. Many airlines have an promotion system, where you start off in economy, then work your way up to business and first class, but other companies let the crew choose where they want to work for that flight. Because according to the accounts of several flight attendants, while they might be serving 10 people instead of 70 in the fancy cabins, their constant demands actually mean they work a lot harder.
