      Worked brilliantly for two months then started with intermittent touch screen failure accompanied by remote failure, meaning no changing of station, no playing CD, no nothing but whatever it happens to be playing at time of failure. Sometimes restart...ing fixes, sometimes not. Discovered Pioneer service is really more "self-service". I will avoid Pioneer products in future based on their warranty service and coverage. Too bad, as it was a nice unit till it started failing. Read more Less

      Purchased a very expensive high-end Sony product which arrived it great physical shape but had a technical bug that didn't belong there. Crutchfield was ZERO help. They told me to take it (brand new) to a Sony repair place. Send me a new one? No way!...Now an Amazon customer - they will take anything back rather than forcing you to deal with the manufacture's repair on a brand new item. Read more Less

      I just happened to come across these reviews and normally only read the negatives. Understandably, those with negative experiences are more likely to take the time to submit a review; it appears that the company has less than stellar customer service.... I recently checked through my order history over the past 20 years. Interesting that they had all records except for details of the orders from 1991. Orders were mailed in on an order form at that time. Mid 90s were called in and 2000 on were made online. I do not have one negative experience in 20 years. Most of the equipment, speakers, car stereos, etc. that I had ever purchased is still in use today except for the Sony VCR that gave up just a couple of years ago. In fact, one order for kickpanel speaker enclosures was actually double shipped so I sent one back and kept the other for free. Thanks Crutchfield! I always shop by price and usually just use Crutchfield for research (Usually, products can be purchased elsewhere for less. Best Buy Suggested retail matches Crutchfield most of the time) Still, sometimes they have the deals no one else can offer. I suppose they are probably having a hard time staying profitable with their upscale lines. People that afford that equipment probably pay to have someone else figure it out for them. I don't imagine too many affluent customers do their own speaker shopping. But, I digress, I am glad they are in existence. Do not hesitate to order from them. I gave customer service 5 stars but I have not spoken with any rep in about 15 years. Read more Less

      my experience has been great.My item was shipped quickly and I was very pleased. UPS was pretty rough on my package but it was packed well enough to survive there brutality.Very pleased with crutchfield.Would deffinetly shop often there.

      "Terrible experience. They said they could ship to the address on file with the credit card company and then refused to. I asked for an acceptable form of shipping and they proceeded to send the package without an address or my name on it, making it ...impossible to pick up. They told me to contact the shipping company, the shipping company forwarded me to the subcontractor and the subcontractor told me to deal with them. Ridiculous customer service that could have been avoided if I had used my paypal address - major credit card isn't acceptable for them. My package is now stuck in limbo and it was time-sensitive.       A while back I tried to order a psp handheld gaming device, so I wrote a check to them since they do accept checks. I waited for a week and then I called them. They said we need a bank statement, so I sent them one. Then they gave me the runaround so...I then decided to cancel the order. After a week or so, they started mailing catalogs as if I actually bought something from them. If you use a check don't expect anything from them. Read more Less

      Best price on Sony KDL-52XBR10! Prompt shipping. I even received a hand-written thank-you note card from a customer service rep. Will definitely buy from Crutchfield again!
