failed to deliver flowers to funeral

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jun 14, 2015

Ordered flowers for a funeral of a child hood friend. Got an email the DAYAFTER the funeral saying they failed to secure a florist. Refund was issued but if someone from the company would have called me I could have gotten flowers from a reliable sit...e Read more Less

      Avoid at all costs

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jun 1, 2015

FTD is a disgrace. I have attempted to use this company twice for delivery of flowers. The first time they delivered our $80 order in a plastic container with completely different flowers than we ordered. We selected the crystal vase from home and ga...rdens with vibrant purple flowers. Their solution? Go take the flowers from the home of my grieving family and return later with a different bouquet or a $15 coupon. The second time I ordered, I selected same day service for my mother at 8am, at 2pm I received a call saying they would not be able to deliver, with no apology or attempt to correct their error. Avoid FTD at all costs. Read more Less

      Failed on Mother's Day

By Yahoo! Shopping User  May 11, 2015

Placed Mother's Day order on the prior Wednesday... got an e-mail on Saturday evening informing me they could not fulfill order due to "high seasonal demand". Offered a $20 rebate and promise to deliver by following Tuesday, and that they would also ...send an e-mail to the recipient apologizing for and explaining the delay. They never sent the e-mail. WILL NEVER USE THESE JOKERS AGAIN... no wonder they have been totally eclipsed by 1800FLOWERS Read more Less

Complete SCAM - FTD fails to "deliver"

By Yahoo! Shopping User  May 9, 2015

Receive SPAM emails constantly. Ordered Mother's day flowers for my wife a few days ahead of time and they gave me a delivery window of Sat (day before mother's day) or Sun...couldn't get more specific. Went ahead anyway and got an email from them on...the Sat of delivery in the evening saying they couldn't make it due to high volumes. Ridiculous. DO NOT ORDER from them...do yourself a favor. if you want nice flowers DON'T buy from FTD

By Yahoo! Shopping User  May 8, 2015

I purchased flowers for Mother's . Biggest fail ever! The arrangement was half the size I purchased. When I called to complain the florist called my mom to ask why she was complaining! Of course my mother didn't know what was going on and said she di...dn't call to complain and that she was happy with the flowers! If I could I'd upload the picture of the flowers I thought I was buying and those that were received. Worst fail ever! Worst customer service ever. If I could I'd give zero stars for service. If you're considering buying flowers from FTD consider going to an open field and picking wildflowers instead, probably prettier and you won't get a headache from such horrendous service. Never Delivered.. products or on their promises

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 17, 2015

I ordered online, and asked for a February 13th delivery date (my mother's actual birthday). By February 14th, no flowers, so I call in the morning, and they tell me that there are notes in their system that they had a "problem" with finding florists...to fulfill the order and they were unable to do so. They did not notify me, I had to call them. After creating quite the fuss, they agreed to upgrading my flowers, and even though I was very unhappy about it, I understand that it's Valentine's day and there's only so much they can do, so they told me it would be delivered definitely by Tuesday since Monday was President's Day and Sunday they don't deliver. Of course, it's the end of day Tuesday, and no delivery, so I call again, and they tell me it would either be today or tomorrow. I was beyond furious at this point, so I demanded a refund, so like everyone else's similar experiences, we'll see how that goes. Read more Less

      Worst Customer Service

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 17, 2015

Worst customer service. The order was placed a week ahead of the delivery date to insure 1) the flowers requested would be available for the arrangement on a busy holiday, 2) delivery would be scheduled to insure that it would be delivered early on t...he date requested for delivery. Customers assume that deliveries will be schedule relative to the time the order is placed, so orders placed early would be delivered early on the day of delivery and orders placed at the last minute would be placed at the end of the deliveries for that date. Early placement of orders also allow additional personnel to be available if there are larger numbers of deliveries than originally anticipated.Customer service did inform of their lack on delivery, 3 hours after they claim to have attempted delivery. Instead of providing information concerning when the delivery would be made and how the specific situation would be rectified, a generic apology e-mail is sent with platitudes and absolutely no specific information or statement of how the problem will be addressed. That is NOT customer service. That does NOT inspire customers to believe that your company will make any effort to insure that such poor and unreliable service does not happen in the future. The generic e-mail does not address how your company's incompetence makes someone who WAS a loyal customer look incompetent by NOT providing the level of service advertised and delivering (maybe, because you still have NOT made the delivery) a floral arrangement EXTREMELY LATE for an important holiday; your lack of service reflects on your customers and recipients who are disappointed with your incompetence and lack of concern. IF you had concern for your customers, you would address each problem PERSONALLY, instead of sending a generic e-mail 'apology'. Using a generic e-mail apology confirms to your customers that this is NOT a rare occurrence but an 'everyday' event which requires boilerplate apology e-mails to keep up with a large number of similar problems. If this is a rare event, each instance could be addressed by customer service with information concerning how the problem(s) will be rectified.I would like SPECIFIC information concerning WHEN the delivery will be made, and if fresh flowers will be used in the arrangement instead of flowers that have been sitting around for several days beyond when they were to be delivered.I am NOT happy with the level of service or quality of the product, OR the lack of "customer service" in resolving the issue, provided by FTD. There still has been NO response to my last e-mail to "customer service". REFUSAL to address customer's concerns, is NOT customer service; it is a failing business model. From the complaints and examples of the lack of customer service and care found on this site, FTD will soon be replaced by competitors who value customers, instead of abuse them. If this is the current level of service that FTD provides, there are other floral delivery services available. Read more Less

      Do NOT use FTD

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 16, 2015 | 1 out of 1 found this FTD review helpful

I should have learned the first time, but this is the second time that FTD has messed up an order. The delivery did not happen on the scheduled day, then when the recipient tried to call the number left by the florist there was no answer. The email l...eft by the florist - nope, that bounced back too. What is worse, when I tried to call customer service to work it out, I had someone that asked me to repeat the same information again and again and was not helpful at all. When I asked to speak to the supervisor, he essentially refused. I then tried to email and follow up, but the only reply I got was a "sincere" apology. It looks like for the non delivery, I am going to have to take it up with my credit card company. Take my advice - go some where else for flowers!!! Read more Less

      never again!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 2, 2015 | 1 out of 1 found this FTD review helpful

I ordered a beautiful arrangement that included yellow roses and white daisies and white Peruvian lilies. I paid $10 to upgrade the bouquet making it a $55 arrangement. My sister-in-law sent me a thank you text for the arrangement with a picture. I w...as aghast at how different what she received was from what i sent. It had 1 rose rather than the multiple roses pictured. It had pink lilies and a LOT of green. I called FTD, they were to call the florist and get back to me. No call. 4 days later i called again. They called the florist who said that they prepared it exactly as pictured. I have offered several times to send picture evidence and all they say is that 'they can't receive email pictures'. I was told that the FTD rep would call me back the SAME day after talking to the florist again. Still no call...but I got an email saying that they were refunding me $10.80 since i was dissatisfied. Not sure what this is for since I paid almost $75 after delivery and taxes. Will NEVER use FTD again! Read more Less

FTD should be prosecuted for Fraud

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jan 26, 2015 | 1 out of 1 found this FTD review helpful

I purchased the My Heart to Yours Roses for $50, almost $70 with delivery. They sent an arrangement with 4 small roses and one spray of 4 tiny rosebuds. That's it. Nothing like the website pictures. I was mortified, so embarrassed to have sent such a...pathetic arrangement. It would have been better to have sent nothing. I complained and they called to offer me 20% off. I told them to keep it. I will never order from them again, and no one else should either. Read more Less
