      What a horrible experience. I have always used FTD but will never again. I ordered flowers for Mothers Day using the same day delivery and was notified 1 day later that it would not be delivered for 2 days. Then 2 days later I was told that the items...were not even available in that area!!!! Needless to say, my mother-in-law did not receive any flowers for mothers day and FTD never even responded.       I ordered flowers for my wife for our 2 year wedding Anniversary and her birthday to her business she got them as she was leaving the office. What is the point of ordering 4 days in advance for her to get flowers as she is walking out of the office. ...I wanted her to have them to look at all day. I am a chef so I was wondering why I hadn't heard anything from her. She actually had to call customer service for me, due to me being unavailable and they told her "if they can't get them to you today, it will just have to be tomorrow." who says that to a customer? I am not happy with this service at all and would never use them again. Not to mention they are over priced for the quality. Read more Less

      What a joke FTD.COM has become. I used to use FTD for all my flower needs. But with this latest series of screw-up after screw-up, with no fair outcome, I am recommending that everyone STAY AWAY FROM FTD !!.First, our son is military. My wife and I a...rraigned (on our sons behalf) to ship flowers and a vase to his wife on their anniversary. We paid for 15 flowers, a card, AND A VASE to be delivered to her on their anniversary.Day of, FEDEX delivered a box and left it on her porch in the rain with no cover. First, by the time she got home, the box was soaked through, most of the flowers were destroyed, and her card was ruined. Next, there was only 12 flowers and not 15, and last there was no vase. We also got charged a huge rate for shipping due to the weight of the vase... that never got shipped.We contacted FTD to complain, and FTD offered either to refund us 15% or attempt a re-delivery. Since re-delivery would take 2 days and the anniversary surprise was now ruined, we opted for the 15% refund, which should have been $8.00. When we got our credit card statement, we were only refunded $3.00.DON'T USE FTD!!! They don't care how bad the service is, and just keep piling on the mess. Read more Less

      Tried to order flowers for Valentine's Day 6 days before. A day after ordering, I received a phone call the flowers were not available and could not be delivered. Also received a phone message to call about order. After 5 minutes of trying to slowly ...say the order number so the person could look up my order was told I would be refunded and transferred. The person I was transferred to stated they were available and would be delivered. Called back the next day to just check, again, 5 minutes for person to finally understand the letters and numbers in the order number (don't try F as in Frank or N as in Nancy if they keep getting the letter wrong, just made it more confusing). Was advised they were not available. Tried to sell me other types of flowers and when I said I wanted to see at least pictures of what I was going to send, they said they would be the same thing. I didn't think they were available!!!! When ordering, also used a gift certificate, when asked if the code could be used again, they said they could not refund that but again, tried to get me to order something very similar. I am done with FTD.com, I have used them several times and had pleasant experiences with ordering and customer service, but not once on this order. Read more Less

      I ordered Christmas flowers to be delivered to my daughter in NC on December 21st to be delivered on December 24th, on the 24th I received an email stating they wouldn't be delivered until the 29th - Christmas flowers delivered 5 days late - no excus...e was provided. I responded by email and the automatic response I received said that they would look into it and get back to me - they never did.I called customer service today and they told me that those Christmas flowers were not on their website and were no longer available - no reason for the lack of a timely delivery in the first place or why they were not delivered on the 29th. When I spoke to a supervisor his response was to offer a $30 coupon - big deal! I will never use FTD again. Read more Less

      I ordered flowers online for my aunt's funeral. I was totally embarrassed when I saw what was delivered to the funeral home. They were delivered a few minutes before visitation started and looked absolutely nothing like what I had ordered. Avoid FTD ...at all costs. Read more Less

      Nothing like picture- late delivery to funeral home!

      Ordered flowers for a good friends mothers funeral & was completely embarrassed by what was delivered! First of all, I did not receive confirmation that the flowers were delivered and they were supposed to be arriving at funeral home by 3pm yesterday.... So around 4 I contacted FTD. They put me on hold while they attempted to contact the florist. After a few minutes the lady came back and said they were not answering because they were probably out delivering. She said she would tag her name on my account so she could call me as soon as she heard back.. never received anything back. Around 5 I called again, a man answered and not only was he rude, he didn't even apologize once for the inconvenience. He attempted to call the florist and told me the same thing (they are not answering the phone). In tears I asked him if he could please try to contact them again as this was important to me. He said okay and called again. Barely a minute later comes back on the line and says they didn't answer. I told him I was going to the funeral home myself to check to see if they were delivered and if not I would be expecting a refund. He kept repeating himself and saying well we didn't get a message from the florist that there was an issue so it should be getting delivered. Not very comforting to someone who just lost someone close to them. I get to the funeral home and looked for flowers that resembled the one's I know I purchased.. didn't see any that came close. Finally I read through the cards and located the flowers that were sent in our name. These flowers looked NOTHING like the picture online and they were delivered LATE to the funeral home. Chose fall flowers because the deceased loved fall, these were not fall. ALSO paid for the BEST selection (from the options Good, Better, Best and Grand or something). This does not look like a bouquet of BEST flowers, WHY ARE THERE CARNATIONS?! I would not even pay $20 for these flowers let alone the $91.97 total that our order came to. Purchased a Groupon offer for $15 (which allowed us to receive $30 off of our order) and now I am out the $15 from Groupon as well as the $61.97!!!! The card that was included was pathetic and barely legible, as if their printer ran out of ink or something. They did not bother to reprint it and it was a piece of paper TAPED inside of an actual card- looked VERY cheap. I will NEVER EVER order from Groupon or FTD AGAIN. Read more Less

      FTD is a disgrace. I have attempted to use this company twice for delivery of flowers. The first time they delivered our $80 order in a plastic container with completely different flowers than we ordered. We selected the crystal vase from home and ga...rdens with vibrant purple flowers. Their solution? Go take the flowers from the home of my grieving family and return later with a different bouquet or a $15 coupon. The second time I ordered, I selected same day service for my mother at 8am, at 2pm I received a call saying they would not be able to deliver, with no apology or attempt to correct their error.       Placed Mother's Day order on the prior Wednesday... got an e-mail on Saturday evening informing me they could not fulfill order due to "high seasonal demand". Offered a $20 rebate and promise to deliver by following Tuesday, and that they would also ...send an e-mail to the recipient apologizing for and explaining the delay. They never sent the e-mail.
