Purchased a DuraFlex Fiberglass Body Kit for 2003 Toyota Corolla on March 19, 2015. It was delivered on March 27, 2015. My initial inspection was that the box was damaged and in bad shape, but I personally did not know what to look for in damage for ...fiberglass body parts. Parts were further inspected by my body shop professional on April 4, 2015 upon preparation of installing the body kit. The shop called me immediately to come to the shop to show me major problems. The body kit has numerous chips in the gel coat and several cracks in the fiberglass. The also noted that the front bumper cover would not fit my car as stated without removing the front bumper support cross beam and front bumper impact absorber pad. Both of these are major safety features on the car and removal would make the car unsafe to drive with fear of front impact would cause the motor to come into the cab of the car due to no front impact protection. Of course the website did not state this major modification to my actual car frame structure, but only stated that sanding and cutting of the parts would be required and professional installation. I contacted CarID.com immediately that same day and they requested photos. I sent photos of all the damage. No response back. I called several times and kept being sent to an automated customer service to take a message and never called back. The finally spoke with a manager on April 9, 2015. Sent him the photos and he said that I had a good claim and should know something in 24-48 hours. No response. I have emailed and called several times again to only be ignored again. Ordered 4 TPMS worth $179 for my car on Monday and got the package on Wednesday. Price was good and shipping was quick. But to my surprise they shipped the wrong parts. They sent me wheel bearing retainer clip worth $12.24. I called the customer serv...ice line 4 times and they are always too busy so you have to leave a number and they never call you back. (1/23/15) This is an update to my previous review: Ordered on 1/13/15 and was told by phone sales rep and email confirmation the est. ship date was 1/15 and when I called to get tracking in on 1/15, I was told that this item is a "Manufactured Item" ...and it always take 5 to 7 days to ship out and ship out date was changed to 1/21. I called on 1/21 to get tracking info and the est. shipping date was changed again to 2/9/15. I don't understand how these people stay in business....probably launch a new website whenever business stops receiving orders. Just Horrible...worse than the worst eBayer!! I placed an order over the phone, because the website shows one picture in the description and a different picture when I added the item to the online shopping cart. The customer rep tells me that the ite...m should ship out within 2-3 days and I also got an email stating that the estimated ship date is on 1/15/15 (2 days after order date 1/13). I called on Friday because I did not get a tracking number and the customer rep tells me they are a drop-ship company and will have to call the manufacturer...after several minutes on hold, I was told he could not ahold of the manufacturer and that he would send me an email with an update...which I never got. I called the following Monday and they tell me that it's a "Manufactured product" and it takes 5-7 days to ship-out and it will not ship until 1/21/15 from Mexico, not California where they originally stated the item will ship from. Then I asked to speak to the manager who basically called me a liar, because their service reps are trained properly and would not have told me it would have ship out in 2-3 days, because it's a "Manufactured Item" and that the email I received is an automated email, which goes out for all orders. Am I suppose to decipher through what the service rep tells me (will ship out of California within 2-3 days) and the automated email which corresponds with what the service rep told me? The conversation with the manager ended becoming an argument where he gave me a choice of cancelling my order or order something else, if I didn't want to wait for the item to ship. After reading the reviews online, it seems that this behavior is common with this company...If I had known this, I would have never spent money with this company. Absolutely WORST place to do business with. Parts I ordered showed to be in stock and website said would ship within 24 hrs. 10 days go by and I have nothing. So I call and get some foreigner that I can barely understand telling me sorry they are exp...ected to ship 30 days from now. Are you freaking kidding me. Then when I ask about a refund he tells me it will take about a week for me to actually see the money back in my account. Did not receive all of my order. No response from company on what they are going to do to handle this order. I will cancel the other order that I placed!!!!
I ordered a part and then attempted to contact the company the next morning upon discovering an issue with the order, call after call, then email after email all went un-responded to. Finally after sitting on hold for 40 min got someone one the phone..., then put on hold for another 20 mins just to get nothing accomplished other than canceling the order, the second time I called in to have the order canceled I did get a cancelation confirmation from Jonida Hermoso in customer service. Approx 48 hours later they charged my card anyways so I emailed them waiting for 2 more days for a response and then attempted to call again.
