      Horrible follow up

      I ordered the new LG 55" UHD OLED TV on 12/9/15, and It was scheduled for delivery INITIALLY on 12/16/15, then 12/19, then 12/20, 12/23, then 1/3/16, then 1/5. I threatened to cancel the order after the 5th delivery change. They said it would be ship...ping any day. I told them that if the delivery date changed again, I was going to hold true with canceling my order. The delivery date changed 2 more times. I spoke to a representative who apologized and tried to get me to keep the order in place. I told him no, I was done with waiting. That was on 1/7/17. I was told I'd have my refund in a few days. Well, it's January 20th and I STILL don't have my refund. And, they won't return my calls or email requests. I told them last night, 1/19, if I did't have my refund back to my discover card by midnight, I would be writing negative reviews until I have it... This is the first review. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!       The company kept me well informed during the order process but the AM Home Delivery service they use were very bad. The two guys who brought my appliances were very unprofessional in their dress and attitude. They hadn't even read the delivery sheet ...so moaned when I told them I'd had to pay extra for one flight of stairs. Then they damaged my condo door while removing my old fridge - no apology offered. Then the main guy couldn't install my new fridge as he didn't have the necessary parts. When he connected my new dishwasher he wired it wrong and tripped the breaker. I checked his work when they left and discovered he hadn't even connected the ground wire - a potentially lethal mistake. I paid $129.99 for "professional" fridge installation. When I told AppliancesConnection it hadn't been done I got a refund but only $89.99 and after many emails asking why I finally gave up. I tried to make a claim for the damaged condo door but thy put so many restrictions on doing so, like I have to produce a police report - who calls the cops because of a dented door?! Crazy. I would never use AppliancesConnection again and would hope my report warns others considering doing so. Read more Less

      The company sent me damaged product and doesn't owner return. The issue has been in the process since September. I still can't return expensive chest that arrived damaged. Stay away from the company!

      I am extremely pleased in doing business with AppliancesConnection.They provide clear and complete information about the products they offer; their online ordering process is extremely easy to use, clear, concise, and accurate.They are very responsiv...e in keeping you informed on how your order is progressing.More importantly, I was able to find the exact product I have wanted to purchase for quite some time; and, at an incredible price; saving me in excess of $1,200.00.I most certainly intend to continue using AppliancesConnection, as my first choice in shopping for all my future major appliance purchases.       I've never purchased a large appliance off the internet before, but the brick stores didn't have the exact model of refrigerator that I wanted. After searching the internet, I found AppliancesConnection and my refrigerator was less expensive than oth...er sites, so I ordered it and couldn't be more pleased.       They do not offer "professional Installation". They use a contracting company called A&B. Two guys showed up late and tried to get me to sign the papers stating they would come back to do the installation and made excuses as to why they could not do ...the install. When I called the company to share the horrible experience no one called backed. Finally after 30 days and several calls later I get to a person who was suppose to be a supervisor named Kelvin only to find out I was talking to Eric, an Admin person if these are there real names. Kelvin gets on the phone who was rude and unprofessional and did not want to resolve my concern. THERE IS MUCH MORE TO THE STORY.. bottom line this company does not care about customers once they have your money. They are trained not to give out information. I agree with the previous person's complaint RUN.. DONT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. Read more Less

      Run away from the idea of doing business with these people. You will regret it.My adventure with Appliance Connection started in the middle of September 2015 when my dishwasher finally died. I searched for a replacement, found a model that I liked an...d started looking for someone to purchase from. The prices I found were all over the place. The lowest price I found was with Appliance Connection. Lowest Price obviously doesn't mean anything about customer service, speed of delivery, or the ability to properly communicate with a customer via email.I made a purchase via their website using Paypal as my payment method. I received an order confirmation 09/22/2015. Paypal registered a transaction that was pending on the same date.Days later I received an email stating that their was a problem with my order and needed to contact appliance connection. So I contacted customer service and had the pleasure of learning that their website doesn't process Paypal and that they will need to send me a new invoice which I need to pay. If your website doesn't process Paypal then why does it list it as an option? This made me extremely uncomfortable as I had looked at my Paypal and saw the pending transaction for the full purchase amount. I didn't want to pay Appliance Connection twice for a single order so I ended up having to contact Paypal to cancel the pending order before I paid the invoice. So I paid the invoice.Three weeks, yes you read that correctly, three weeks after I made the purchase, during which I received no information or communication from Appliance Connection, I finally received an email notifying me that my item was ready for shipping. I don't own a warehouse but it shouldn't take three weeks to locate an item, package it, and put it on a truck. If the item wasn't in stock, or was back ordered from the manufacturer (which it ultimately was according to customer service after the fact) I would have expected at least an email stating as such. I received nothing from them. No notification that it might take longer because the manufacturer had a back order. The shipping email specifically stated that the shipping company would contact me to schedule a delivery date.A couple days later I receive an email notification of my delivery date. I hadn't been contacted to schedule anything. As I wasn't going to be available that day I contacted the jokers at the shipping company. Oh by the way, the shipping company and Appliance Connection are out of the same address in Brooklyn. That should have been a clue. The shipping company then tried to insist I pay a $75 rescheduling fee. That obviously didn't happen and I contacted Appliance Connection directly to let them deal with the shipping people. They were able to "confirm" that delivery would take place the following day. The next day comes and surprise surprise no appliance was delivered, the shipping company had two trucks break down. Ok, things happen, I let it go, that was my next mistake.I was told that it would be delivered the following week. Wrong. On the negotiated delivery date, that's right I had be negotiate to get a delivery date that worked for me, at 1:13 in the afternoon I received an email that my item was going to be delivered because their truck had broken down just outside the warehouse. I live approximately four hours from the warehouse and my scheduled delivery window was 1-5pm. So I was a little confused how I the truck would break down after noon on my delivery date just outside the warehouse when I live four hours away. I immediately called Appliance Connection and talked to one of their customer service (I use that term loosely) reps. She wasn't helpful in locating my item or getting my item delivered so I asked to speak to her supervisor. I sat listening to a ringtone for 16 minutes during which time I had to call them from another line in order to get someone to pick up the phone. After talking to someone on line two and telling them to get their supervisor on the line one I got to speak to the "head of the department." At the time of this phone call it had been exactly a month from my purchase date. The guy gets on the line and I make the simple request that someone get in a truck and deliver my item today or the next day. That is apparently impossible because the warehouse is too far away from my house (4 hours). I then spend another hour on the phone with him trying to get the item delivered that day or the next but to no avail. Of course I outline to him that during that time he is waffling around trying to tell me that no one can deliver the item that quickly that the truck with my appliance could be an hour closer to me. Ultimately he was unwilling to use any other shipping company than A & M Trucking. Not UPS or FEDEX. Order cancelled, paypal contacted, but received no cancellation email. But I did get a shipping update for my item after I cancelled. Read more Less

      Appliances Connection has the best prices online of all the other stores I checked. Excellent customer service with knowledgeable personal and friendly service. My dishwasher was sent with a shipping company that emailed me their info and contacted m...e with the delivery time. The dishwasher arrived in a very well packed box with no damage. My dishwasher is beautiful and does the dishes and pans so clean, it's fantastic! Plus my electric bill went down with the energy savings. Read more Less

      I placed an order and added express shipping for an item that I was told was in stock and would ship 24-48 hours after placing my order. 20 days later the item has still not shipped. I have requested that the order be cancelled 3 times in the last we...ek and the cancellation and refund has still not been processed. I would never order through this company again. Their customer service department is always closed for a holiday and when you do reach someone, you are spoken to as though you are the one who made the error. Read more Less

      AppliancesConnection is very helpful. I called a few times to get product information and everyone was able to give me an answer. I love that they are able to hold my order for shipping so I don't have to wait until the last minute to order and take ...advantage of rebates. Only thing is that I wish they let me do enter the hold info right at checkout but it was not a big deal. Can't wait to get my new appliances in. Prices are unbeatable! Read more Less
