      BEWARE if you are ordering a particular flower (in my case lavender roses). 2 deliveries later, still none to be found in the arrangement despite being quite clear about it in numerous emails to customer service.       They were going to steal our money if we hadn't have caught them! The day following the death of a dear friend's mother we ordered a sympathy bouquet to be delivered the next day. On the supposed delivery day, they called and asked if they could subs...titute a flower because it was out of stock, so I OK'd a florist's choice. They called back later that day to say they couldn't get it out that day, but it would go first thing the next day. My friend was grieving heavily and a flower delivery would have made a HUGE difference at that time. The end of that week I talked to my friend, a very gracious person who normally calls to thank me for a Christmas card, huh? nothing said about receiving flowers so we started to investigate.Multiple calls to 1 800 flowers revealed they hadn't delivered, weren't going to, never notified us and charged us the full amount.       I ordered flowers for a friend who lost a family member. I asked for them to be delivered on Saturday, but choose the flex option to save a few dollars. Flowers could then be delivered anytime saturday OR sunday. I get a phone call monday morning say...ing that my flowers were not delivered. I called them back as requested. They said the flower shop had a "glich" in their computers and would send them out today (monday). Then I get a call near the end of the business day saying that they have not delivered the flowers yet and I need to pay them $17 extra dollars to meet the minimum deliver fee in my neighbourhood. Pardon? you had the postal code they were being sent to when I placed the order on line. You gave me a price. HONOR THAT PRICE. You should have sent them on time, and even given me a refund for not delivering as promised. Not ask for more money! They cancel my order. WORST FLOWER SERVICE EVER! DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS!       I created a yahoo account just so I can attest to the fact that flowers.com is the worst place to order flowers. I ordered flowers from them three times. Each time they were not delivered on the specified date and it was only delivered after I contac...ted customer service. However the third time was honestly ridiculous. After I found out the flowers were not delivered on Valentine's day like I had specified, I contacted customer service the same night to report the situation. They then proceeded to LIE to me and tell me it was delivered on Valentine's day (this was not true). It was delivered 24 hours later and the arrangement was smushed. If I'm going to pay a ridiculous price for some flowers at the very least deliver them on time and if you don't, don't lie to me like I'm a fool and send a janky arrangement. I would give Flowers.com a 0/5 if that were an option. Do yourself a favor and take your money someplace else. Read more Less

      Nothing like recieiving Valentine's Day flowers on the 16th

      I ordered on Tuesday for roses to be delivered the 13th, When they didn't arrive I made 5 calls (min. 20 minute hold). I was promised that they were reordered and would make it on Valentines day. Huge lie!!! On the 15th I was told "our fault and we a...re so sorry". Now the will be delivered Monday....Maybe.       Disappointment and Lies

      My order was placed LAST week, to be delivered 2 days ago, and cancelled today. This is totally unacceptable. If you have online ordering with the recipients zip code, how can you tell me over a week later that the florist you picked does not deliver...to that zip code? I was contacted on Thursday to verify recipient address and phone number. My mother was contacted for directions and was told someone would deliver the flowers even though that wasn't the usual delivery area. I was contacted again yesterday and today, before they cancelled the order instead of delivering. Guess they were too busy to care. Read more Less

      2nd botched order

      The 2nd botched order.I know, once, shame on you, twice, shame on me. Well, I believed their apologies. Never again. Back in March 2014, they screwed up my mother's birthday gift - sent her a nice little rose plant, when I'd ordered an orchid plant. ...Got that squared away with an abject apology. So I let bygones be bygones and ordered flowers for my wife, mother in law and mother (3 deliveries - 2 nursing homes & 1 school). Red rose plants for the mothers, yellow rose plant for my wife. Well, they arrived looking like they'd been stored in a very low temp freezer - buds and blossoms drooping and falling off, foliage shrivelled and curled up, in short, DEAD. When I called, supposedly I was being transferred to a supervisor the first time - after being on hold about half an hour - instead, I got cut off. Called back. This time I was on hold for about 3/4 of an hour. finally got connected to a "Tawana". She listened to my complaints, told me that I shouldn't get upset at her - she didn't screw up the order, and I could have a 50% refund on the order. 50% refund after sending dead flowers to my mother, mother in law and wife.       Placed an order for a delivery and have been repeatedly asking for an email receipt so I can get reimbursed from employer. They spelled the email wrong and sent it to the wrong address. I called them back, they corrected it and sent it out. 3 days la...ter no email. Called them back and found out that they spelled it wrong again. At this point they are saying that they have to rescind the old wrong email before they can send out the correct email and all this could take another 48 hours. It doesn't help that the representatives are not from the US (Philipines I think) and the quality of the call is horrible. Read more Less

      Like many of the other complaints, I had ordered a Christmas arrangement for my 100 year old grandmother. Not only did it can cancelled on their end, I received no notice of this cancellation. I thought it strange that she didn't mention the flowers,...as she is usually quick to call, but its a busy time of year, and I didn't think to check online about delivery until after the New Year. The delivery information was incomplete (no explanation of what may or may not have happened). I sent 2 tickets to customer service. Heard nothing back. Just got off the phone. The initial option was to resend - ridiculous. Second offer was to credit it me for $15 (not a full refund). After much anger on my point, and several times waiting on hold for approval of a full refund - FOR SOMETHING NEVER DELIVERED - I am now told I will see my refund to my credit card in 3-5 days. Now, I have to figure out how to make amends with my grandmother - thanks, 1-800-Flowers. Grrr. Read more Less
