      They told me, in an e-mail, that my basket had been delivered. Turns out it had not been and when I contacted them they said that a new shipment was being sent out.       Mother's Day Floweers

      I ordered a 100 rose collection of Mother's Day Rose floral arrangement for my wife several days early. 1-800 Flowers will not deliver on Sundays in my area...so the best I could arrange was for a Friday delivery. "Now" I know why ! They use UPS for ...delivery! UPS doesn't deliver in my area on Sundays. There was NO indication of "what" florist made the arrangement - anywhere on the product. When I checked for 1800 Flowers locations - the closest one is 57 miles away ( I guess that's why UPS was used ?) But I don't know if the one 57 miles away was the culprit. Flowers were received on Friday before Mother's Day, dry, no water, in a packing box. My wife trimmed off the ends and placed them immediately in water. By Sunday, Mother's Day, they were entirely wilted and hanging like dead weeds. I can't call the florist that actually sent them, because I don't know who they are. I can call 1-800 flowers, but I'll only get a "sales person" that doesn't get paid to hear complaints, and probably hasn't got any authority to change the product or process of the company.       My son ordered Mother's Day Flowers and paid extra for Sunday delivery. No flowers on Sunday. On Monday afternoon the florist D'La Borgata in Bensalem PA brought wilted flowers to my house. 1-800-flowers said they would sent them out again but never ...did.       The stars are deceiving,should be all zeros!! Flowers ordered for me by my wonderful Daughter-in-law for Mother's Day(even ordered 4 days earlier).Never arrived. She continually phoned and received promises of delivery for the next day,the next day. ...So I felt bad for her and e-mailed 1800 No Show Flowers. My answer was,her account was credit because nobody could fill the order!!! Never told her that. Ruined our holiday with their empty promises but said they knew it was important.PATHETIC.Thank goodness there are kind and generous people like my family and not everyone is like these useless so-called customer service representatives for 1800 Do expect flowers.       DO NOT ORDER FROM 1-800-FLOWERS. I recently placed an order with this company on the 8th of May for two bouquets of flowers for mother's day. A few hours later I received a call from the company stating that the bouquets could not be made because the...flowers weren't in stock with my local florist. I was told that the ENTIRE order was canceled and that the money would be placed back onto my card. After this, I went with a company called Pro Flowers. They delivered my flowers and everything worked out well with this company. I then get an e-mail from 1-800-Flowers saying that a bouquet of flowers had been delivered to my grandmother. Turns out that only ONE of my orders was canceled even though I was told by 1-800-Flowers that my FULL order was canceled. They will not refund my money or do anything at all even though it was their sales associates fault. Their phone calls are outsourced to India or somewhere overseas. I was on hold for over an hour and a half and they helped me in no way at all and wouldn't let me speak with a manager. I have now lost $70.00 dollars because of this. Please stay away from them!       Really bad service and communication! Didn't deliver flowers for the second time! though order was placed 3 weeks in advance. When I called to enquire why the flowers weren't delivered, got an assistant who didn't speak English, didn't resolve anythi...ng but promised it's been handled and just hang up. Needless to say the flowers never arrived and I had to call back and wait on phone to get a refund. Will never order with them again! Read more Less

      Ordered 3 arrangements to be sent out for mothers day.1) delivered on time. Questionable quality. 2)Delivered after 7 PM on promised delivery day. Didn't know that they were delivered because delivery person didn't even ring the bell. Missed a good t...ip. Flower quality POOR at best. 3) 11 PM on promised delivery day. NO FLOWERS YET.       I ordered a flowering plant on 5/4 to be delivered on 5/7 for MOTHER'S DAY!I was happy to receive an email on 5/5 that the order had been shipped, but it was not delivered. As of this morning, the UPS package is sitting 2 states away.When I called in...this morning, I spent 38 minutes on the phone. I was told they would be sending a replacement TODAY and UPS is tracking the original package. The replacement is cut flowers, not a flowering plant as I ordered.Two hours later, they left a message for me to call in with my reference number. So, I did. I got a guy (non-English speaking) who said the replacement order is still in process, please call back in 10 minutes. So I called in to find out the replacement won't be delivered today after all?When I asked if I could speak with the woman I talked to earlier today, he tells me they aren't allowed to give out that information. Really? Or is he just slacking on his duties?So, they offered a replacement that may not be delivered, it's unlikely the original order will get there on time, and they give me a $20 credit (so I'm told, haven't seen it yet).How about if I NEVER use 1-800-Flowers again?(I only gave 1 star because it made me) Read more Less

      I would give this company zero stars if I had the option. So, I ordered flowers for Mother's Day and set up to be delivered on 5/9 or 5/10. On 5/5, the day after I ordered them, I get a confirmation saying that they had been delivered...on 5/9....a c...onfirmation of delivered flowers dated into the FUTURE...called mother and nothing received (so much for the surprise). Called the 1800 number, got some guy that doesn't speak English, asked me for my name three times, acted like I hadn't said anything, and then looked up order. He stated that it had been cancelled due to the flowers not being available. I advised him that my bank statement shows the charge had been posted, not pending, posted. He stated that if they cancelled the order it would not be charged...Um, it was. So he placed me on hold, pulled up the order, and asked what kind of flowers I was looking for as a different selection...my selection is a refund...I'm not ordering a different arrangement...this order was for 198.95, not a cheap arrangement by any means. He then placed me on hold, stating that he processed the refund and it would post in 5-7 business days. I asked for an email confirmation of the cancellation and he said that it would arrive as soon as the call was ended...an hour later no email. Called the number again, this time on hold for 30 minutes. Received another person whose language did not appear to be English, and after asking 20 questions stated that another agent was in my account so she could not help me. She stated that the email should arrive in 28-44 hours, yes, these numbers (thinking she meant 24-48...) not after the phone call. She said the refund would post in 3-5 days. She then asked if she had "resolved" my issue. I told her I'd let her know if she had not in 48 hours...never use 1800 flowers. If I had not called about the suspicious email I would have been charged for something never delivered and my mother in law would have been royally ticked that we hadn't bothered to send even a card when we thought we sent $200 in flowers....worst customer service ever!       BEWARE if you are ordering a particular flower (in my case lavender roses). 2 deliveries later, still none to be found in the arrangement despite being quite clear about it in numerous emails to customer service. The recipient could very well have le...ft this earth without getting her favorite flowers. i have learned my lesson,and will now call area florists directly, instead. Read more Less
