      I don't write reviews but I also don't like getting ripped off. I placed an order on April 14, 2014 and it is now June 19, 2014 with no product. I have emailed the company several times with no response back. I have also called with no surprise it go...es to an answering machine. Messages have been left and no call back. Funny how they charged my account the day I placed the order but refuse to ship the product. Stay away this company is a joke. Read more Less

      Horrible Customer Service/Order Fulfillment

      My Sony TV lamp burnt out on a Friday morning - found Advanced Lamps was one of several companies that had the right lamp and their website stated they processed orders within 24 hrs. Placed my order just past their 4PM deadline on 4 April with UPS 2...nd Air shipping (extra $20). Based on this expected my order to ship on 7 April and the lamp to arrive on 9 April. Sent my first emails on 9 April when nothing arrived. Then once no return e-mails let voicemail with both sales and customer service message boxes (never got a person to answer a phone call in over 10 calls)! Finally on 10 Apr got a shipping notificiation - but order was sent via USPS, not UPS! Emailed and called again to find out why - no response. By this time I found another company to provide my lamp with overnight shipping and had new lamp from them by 11 Apr. On 14 April contacted my credit card company to dispute charges from Advanced Lamps and they removed the charfe, since no contact from them, shipping info didn't have any updates beyond shipment received on 10 Apr, and I thought I had been totally scammed. Finally on 16 April I got my lamps - but I had already received replacement from another company - so they are still in unopened box from the shipment. On 21 April, finally got a voicemail from customer service and they requested I email them - sent another email and never got a response. Today I noticed credit card company had reinstated the charge, so I emailed Advance Lamps asking for refund on my shipping charges - they finally responded to state they would refund half - because they did ship the product just not the way requested. I told them that due to not processing order within stated company policy and not shipping how requested they should have refunded entire amount. I will not and would recommend that no one ever order from them, as they don't seem to care about customers or fulfilling orders in a timely manner. Can't speak to quality of the product, since I havent used it yet, but have strong concerns it will be of similiar quality as their fulfillment and customer service is - POOR! Read more Less

      I just wanted to post my experience with this vendor and confirm that the items can be severely backlogged. I had ordered a replacement lamp for RUNCO projector and after 3 weeks the customer service called me after I left a message on their voicemai...l to inquire about the status. The lady was quite kind in explaining the backlog issue and understood my need of having the part with urgency. We decided to cancel the order for a full refund. I share the frustration of others for not being able to receive the part, but I want to recognize this company for the customer service. Read more Less

      Do not order from this company. I ordered an XL-2400 projection lamp for my Sony Grand Wega. They charge you more than twice what it actually costs to ship your product USPS (23.00). It was suppose to be 2-day shipping, it took 8 days. The first one ...arrive, it did not work. I returned the lamp the day after it arrived, sent it back to them the same way on the 11 of Feb, ($8.00). My new Lamp arrived today, it also does not work. The catch is this: When you respond to them for a replacement you have to give them the serial number off the lamp you are returning. Well guess what? They sent me back the same lamp I returned. It doesn't matter what time of the business day you call, they never answer. Read more Less

      I have been waiting for well over three weeks for no product to come for a lamp I ordered, no return calls, no one answers the phones or messages. this is so unprofessional. I will never ever ever do business with this company again and I will not re...commend others to do business either. After all these weeks the threats to call BBB they cancelled the order then had the nerve to send me a thank you email for my business and asked if I would still shop with them.       I palced an order for a replacement bulb that was to be delivered in 5-7 business days. 5 e-mails and 4 phone calls later, still no bulb. I talked to a service rep twice. She said she's notify management and "try" to find out what's going on. They st...opped answering my phone calls. I contacted my credit card company to stop payment.       I have ordered a tv projector replacement lamp. They replied that it was out of stock. I asked them to cancel my order. They said that they will refund me in the next 5 business days. I ordered the lamp from an other supplier, received it and install...ed it. a month and a half later, they did not yet refund me but they shipped me a lamp that was supposed to be canceled. I try to reach them but I am still waiting for an answer that will never come. Do not do business with this company. Read more Less

      Took my money and when product did not arrive I contacted company only to find out item was backordered. After several calls spanning over a mounth and e-mails as well as leaving messages I have received no product OR refund. BAD COMPANY!
