You don't know Jack
In the meantime, I’m here to highlight a few of the newest, best apps afloat in a sea of new releases. I envision this regular piece growing in length and content as I move forward. As this is my first crack at it, I’ve limited it to three time apps I think you’ll enjoy this time of year.
You Don’t Know Jack
The irreverent, multi-million selling interactive trivia franchise is now available on iOS devices.
In May, the Facebook version of You Don’t Know Jack was launched “to combine the party-atmosphere of console and PC gaming to the asynchronous social gaming space where people could play wherever they want,” said Harry Gottlieb, the game’s inventor and the founder of Jellyvision Games.
“After six months of tweaking the Facebook game, we’re ready for the small screen, starting with iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.”
The iOS version will have persistent play with users of the Facebook version and all key functionality remains the same between apps.
Players of the mobile version can choose to play in guest mode or via Facebook Connect, the latter of which brings party-style play to mobile.
You Don’t Know Jack will constantly produce new content that engages players with questions on current pop culture and news players are discussing on Facebook, tying gameplay into the social experience more than any previous game.

Here’s a free app that instantly serves up coupons and deals from your favorite retail stores as soon as you walk into a mall. Once you download the app from the App Store or Android Marketplace it will immediately start saving you money.
On the app’s homepage – shopularapp.com – you’ll see a list of coupons and deals from more than 150 national retailers including Victoria’s Secret, Gap and Bath & Body Works.
You die hard bargain hunters will see the real magic happen as soon as you enter the mall when the app automatically notifies you of current coupons and deals for your favorite stores. Just click on the coupon in the app and show it when you’re checking out.
It’s all about shopping apps this time of year, and Flit Shopping is aimed at bargain-hunting fashion hounds. Flit combines shopping, social media and sales so you can search for countless items across thousands of e-commerce sites using just this app alone.
The people behind Flit Shopping call it a virtual mall that mixes shopping and socializing with friends. It is available exclusively for the iPad and boasts features such as Speed Search, Comparison Shopping, In-app Purchasing and Alerts. The app tries to stand out in this crowded market with a little celebrity sparkle.
Keylee Sanders is the spokesperson for Flit Shopping, on-air style expert, celebrity stylist, founder and CEO of Style Studio LLC and co-owner of K2 Productions, franchise holders under the Miss Universe/Miss USA Organization.
