  • Ideal for Business users w/Blackberry Smartphones

    ### I am amazed at the negative reviews I've received from people who have never owned this product! The reality is that if you own a blackberry smartphone, the Playbook is a no brainer! I love love love the Blackberry Bridge which keeps my Playbook pair...ed to my BB Storm2 at all times. This allows for easy access to e-mails, calendars, notes, contacts, etc on a much larger screen. One big plus is that the Bridge also allows you to access the internet on your Playbook using the data on your smartphone! Some say that the PB's screen (7in.) is too small, but I find that it is more practical and allows me to type without a challenge. Being the 1st version, there are still some features that are being rolled out in the way of software updates, so this is a product that is ever-growing. The internet browser is awesome, even when using data from your phone. If you own a BB phone and are in the market for a tablet, give this one a try. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Read more Less

  • A Worthy Investment

    ### I purchased the Playbook during the Thanksgiving holiday when RIM marked it down $300 - what a steal! The 7 inch screen is the perfect size for toting around in my purse without being too heavy (or without having to lug around a tote bag). The dual c...ameras meet my expectations and recording is easy and satisfying. Multitasking is a breeze on the Playbook and Blackberry Bridge is so convenient. I especially love using Blackberry Messenger via the Bridge...it's a lot easier for me than trying to IM people thru my phone. I am SO glad I purchased the Playbook - RIM definitely gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. Read more Less

    ### The feel of the playbook makes every other tablet I looked at feel like a toy, the camera funtionality is great in good lighting, not so good in poor lighting... Multitasking is great, switching between apps easy, web browsing is the fastest I have...seen over wifi on any of my devices... I love it, with new apps coming out it can only get better... • Close but no cigar....

By Michael Quattro  Dec 15, 2011

    ### Bought this device to link with my BB Torch and use my kindle e book library as well as the other tablet features. With tech support on the line and all switches functioning, couldn't link my Torch to it. Tech support was useless and couldn't resolve...the issue. Although it;s been stated numerous times that here would be an app for kindle access, there isn;t now nor likely to be one soon. Very limited in what apps it'll accept and run. Even at $199 this device is useless. Read more Less
