Equipped with a 4.3-inch anti-glare color touchscreen, this model includes free lifetime map updates that can be downloaded from Garmins website once every quarter. This ensures the most up-to-date locational information relating to new streets, houses and businesses within the continental US as well as Canada and Mexico. Voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions are provided via "City Navigator" technology, with over six million "Points Of Interest" that can be specified at the users discretion. Two and three-dimensional maps are available with shaded contours in the latter for simulated elevation levels, all of which with full zooming support for optimal locational gauging.
