  • Bad washer

    By Sherry  Apr 22, 2011

    ### I have had this washer for about 2 years.. The repairman has been here twice. I can not afford for him to come out again. With the automatic censer fill, It takes over 15 minutes to fill the washer about 1/3 full. Then their is not enough water in th...e drum to clean or rinse the clothes. I have to do a quick wash, then a regular wash when I wash our our work clothes( their just dirty, not greasy) . If I don't ,the drum is left with dirt streaks when the machine is done. I have always bought whirlpool products in the past. but this washer is a piece of junk. I keep hoping to find a used set in a garage sale. The matching dryer is not much better. Read more Less

  • Beware

By Yahoo Shopping User  Apr 22, 2011

Washer does not perform as it should if an extension must be used for the drain hose. Leaves small amount of water in tub after final spin on delicate and casual cycles. Whirlpool offers no help in finding solution for problem.

  • DON'T BUY

MORE THAN HALF OF THE LOAD REMAINS ABOVE THE WATER LINE AND NEVER GETS WET. BOTTOM WET HALF DOES NOT SPIN DRY.

  • Do not B U Y this machine

    By Laurence  Jan 1, 2012

    ### My wife and I purchased this machine in May 2011 to replace an old Kenmore. The new washer matched the Whirlpool dryer we purchased a year before that. The washer - HUGE mistake. It uses less water and is environmentally friendly. However, it doesn't...wash anything. When it starts, the machine weighs the clothes and determines the water level. Because it uses so little water, the color clothes are never clean. They was covered in soap stains - there's not enough water to soak and wash the clothes. So instead of saving water, we're using more water because we wash them two and three times to remove the soap. And we are not always successful. We have thrown out good clothes because we can't remove the dried soap. Read more Less

  • Loud, annoying

    By Kat  Apr 23, 2011

I understand the purpose for a child lock, but my boyfriend made the mistake of getting one. This machine false starts three times before it goes, and at one point in the wash cycle it sounds like a horror movie sound effects.
