I have been using the Canon 60D for photographing weddings for over two years. Most professional wedding photographers will tell you - as well as the rest of the world - the creation of exceptional images don't have to do with the camera as much as i...t has to do with the talents of the wedding photographer. With this fact in mind, pro photographers seeking to provide high quality wedding photography at more competitive prices should consider this camera. The best image quality depends on the lens chosen. Which by the way, doesn't require the photographer to shoot with an "L" series lens. It is especially true that quality glass is less important when many photographers today do so much processing and filter applications to their images. Why invest over $2,000 in a single pro quality lens, for wedding photography purposes only, if the images which have been captured are going to be air brushed, retouched and sometimes creative filter effects applied? I have thousands of images which require the most highly trained eye to distinguish my 60D camera shots from those created with much more expensive cameras with more expensive lenses. • Great prosumer camera

    By Kays  Jun 16, 2013

I upgraded from a Rebel XT to a 60D and there was a huge difference. I felt comfortable going straight to manual mode. I loved the added focal points and the easy to use features. The camera also does great in low light settings since there are many ...ISO settings to choose from. The flip screen also makes self portraits easier than ever. Although I wish the image quality to be just a bit more crisp, I can't complain because it doesn't have a full sensor. This camera is great for camera enthusiasts who want to step it up to the next level. Read more Less
