    The Sony BRAVIA XBR-52HX909 is a high-end, 52", 3D HDTV to be released in July 2010. Prohibitively expensive for many at $4000, the units key feature, aside from its 3D capability, is full-array local LED dimming, which allows parts of the backlight to shut off independently, producing higher black levels. Motionflow PRO 240Hz technology enables ultra-smooth motion reproduction, while Sonys BRAVIA Engine 3 processor aims to optimize image detail, contrast, and color. The XBR-52HX909 can connect wirelessly (with an additional adapter) or via ethernet to a home network, and is DLNA-certified, allowing users to play movies and music stored on a computer or media server, as well as access online content via YouTube, Netflix, and other providers.
