  • Z740 Great for a beginner

    By C. C. R.  Dec 14, 2005

    ### This camera was incredibly easy to learn how to use. I am very impressed with the features that it provides. The zoom works well and pictures are pretty sharp even at the highest zoom level. I had been looking at many ultra zoom cameras that were mor...e costly than this camera, and I feel that the best value was in this camera. It takes great indoor flash pictures in nearly dark conditions. The manual adjustments are pretty easy to figure out too, with on screen prompting that tells what conditions you'd use that feature for. I just can't say enough good things about it. Read more Less

  • Easy to use, with no negatives

    By Keith B  Nov 10, 2006

    ### We purchased this camera for a trip to the national parks of Utah. The pictures are stunning. The camera was very easy to use. It comes with cords to plug into a TV for a slide show. The easyshare printer makes it easy to get 4X6 pictures without dow...nloading to the computer. It takes AA bateries -- necessary in a pinch in Southern Utah. The printing identifiying the buttons on the back has worn off -- in a short while, but it does not reduce my enthusiam for the camera. Read more Less

  • Good Buy, Great Camera

By Tom Kane  Jul 29, 2005

    ### Bought this camera a month ago. I really like the 10x zoom and the autofocus feature. The software is easy to work with and the pictures I have taken so far have been excellent. This is a full-size camera, which is nice in many ways. It doesn't seem...as delicate as my old Sony, which was pocket-sized. You really feel like you're using a regular camera. Definitely would buy it again. Read more Less

  • Had mine for awhile now . . .

    By Jake  Nov 4, 2006

I really enjoy this camera. It has great image quality that is hard to find in this price range. As stated in my cons it could use a little more memory for processing, you can snap off about 8 pics fast before you notice some lag.

  • Old Friend!

    ### My mom got me this camera as a graduation present back in 2007. It was my first camera, ever! I immediately poured myself into knowing it, without use of the manual. The manual settings were easy to set and use. I became rather good at taking picture...s in low lighting without the use of flash. I'd go on walking trips around the city taking pictures of buildings, flowers, people. I've gotten great compliments on photos I've taken with this camera. We had a great relationship, until my brother broke it about a year ago. I have not owned a camera since, hoping to buy this one again. I could get something else, but, I love it too much. I overlooked the whole battery ordeal because I had a great time with this one. Shutter lag will vary depending on how steady your hands are. Read more Less

    By MARISSA G  May 1, 2006

    ### my husband bought this for me since I am a huge picture fan. It so easy to use, lots of options especially the action option which take 5 shots in a row. I've captured beautiful pictures and made lots of gifts for others through my photos. The LCD sc...reen is the perfect size to view. My favorite part is capturing video on my camera and sending it to my family far away. This camera is worth the money! Read more Less
