Had this machine for 4 years and it died! Bought a front load LG and have been much Happier.
The Cabrio is junk. The rods break and it cannot handle heavy wash cycles. Contacted Whirlpool and they just brushed us off... BEWARE. there are plenty of other washers out there that you can take a chance on... this model is junk.
### The design for energy savings was promoted by Whirlpool to obtain tax credit and approvals but really wastes energy and especially time waiting for ends of cycles. The is no flexibility in modifiying cycles to really save water. The basket support d...esign lends itself to an inherent wobble. A very small load will always unbalance. The whole concept was for women to throw a load in and walk away and come back and remove the load and accept whatever the machine does. Normal cycle is the worst. Detergent He type will not dissolve with cold water. Air in the load lifts sheets and other thin fabrics like a balloon and the clothes never really get submerged. Comments from my wife who is the user and very unhappy with this washer. Read more Less
### I purchased my set a few years ago. Have never had any problems, with 5 kids at the time I bought it, it was great...now with an empty house, it is still working like the first day I bought it. It is sturdy, handles big loads, comforters, etc. Only p...roblem I had is that it had to be level 100% all of the time. Other than that, no complaints. Would definately buy another if mine ever broke down and could not be fixed. I would definately recommend this washer and dryer to everyone. Read more Less
