  • Linksys E2000 Wireless-N Router

    productwiki

The E2000 is Linksys replacement for the WRT320N dual band wireless-N router. It is one of two dual band routers from the new E series, the other being the high end E3000. The E2000 can run at 5.0GHz as opposed to the standard 2.4GHz frequency offered by the low end E1000; this enables your home wireless network to avoid interference with other local networks. The new Cisco Connect Software replaces the Network Magic software previously offered by Linksys for easy networking setup. This new sofware makes parental controls and adjusting advanced network settings easier. The E2000 offers A/B/G/N wireless with up to 300Mbps speed and 4 gigabit (10/100/1000) ethernet ports. It has Wi-Fi protected setup and WPA/WPA2 security settings. The E2000 is a good option for anyone looking for extra performance or the stable wireless networking that the 5GHz band provides in areas crowded with other wireless networks.
