These are without a doubt the best headphones available. If you want the trendy choice you get beats, but if you want the best product and sound you get Bose. You'll be blown away by the sound and noise canceling it's unbelievable.
Anyone who says Beats is a better headphone is uneducated and biased to what the other people in their genre are wearing. Not only are the QC15's comfortable, they do precisely what they're meant to do- ultimately cancel out all background noise arou...nd you. And if you're flying, it's the most amazing experience with canceling out the engine noise (even when sitting in the seat next to the engine). Do NOT listen to those that opt for Beats...they have no knowledge on the subject. If you're thinking of spending $300 on headphones, anything other than QC15 is ridiculous. Read more Less
Have two pair of the QC15's and have been nothing but pleased with the performance especially with the noise cancellation and sound quality when flying on any plane trip, just put it on your mp3 or smartphone and relax, next thing you know your at yo...ur destination. I'd personally put my QC15's up against any other headphone on the market and if you're a true audiophile like myself you will not be able to dispute the pure sound clarity and quality displayed by the QC15....Bose...you know what's up, the undisputed sound champion...period!!! These are great! I'm in it for the music, not the fashion statement. Why anyone would buy Beats? Beats me! I could care less what the flavor of the month rap star is wearing. Trust me, these are the best!
I use my quietcomfort headset at the gym and it works great, i don't hear the gym music at all overall I rate them as #1.
I have used these headphones for hundreds of hours on jetliners, small planes, airport concourses, cars, riding lawnmowers, and a quiet living room. The noise reduction is the first thing that you'll notice; second is the selectivity of the noise red...uction. In a noisy jetliner, I can hear the cabin crew's questions more easily with than without the headphones. I use them on long drives, where the road noise is the most tiring part of the journey; while the road noise is suppressed, I can listen to talk radio just fine. For listening to music, well, they're Bose, 'nuff said. I'm on my third pair - like I said, they're kind of flimsy - but they're the best, and they're worth the money. Read more Less
After two years the plastic holding both ear pieces in place cracked. My head isn't that big either. I switched to the Sony 500. It's metal and well constructed. Beats IMO are fine if your primary concern is being trending and if you're under 30.
I have had numerous noise reduction headphone and these by far are the best. In airplanes they reduce all but the wanted noise and reduce fatigue caused by crying babies, talking neighbors etc. The music reproduction is superior. I don't worry about ...the 'flimsy" feel, because, as others have said, they have used them hundreds of times!. Bose costs more but delivers the best ! Read more Less
These headphones are so yesterday, both in looks and technology. Beats came out with the Executive line that completely blows these away. I traded in my Bose for Beats. Easy decision.
