    The Western Digital My Book World Edition II is a dual-drive network storage device that connects to a home or office network via Ethernet. The available capacities are 2TB and 4TB and the drives come in a RAID 1 mirrored formation, although the option to use them as one whole drive or RAID 0 is also possible. RAID 1 means one drive is a duplicate of the other, should one fail there is another there to keep the system running with all of the data backed up. A USB 2.0 connection is also included for connecting an additional drive to the unit for adding more storage space.
