  • A great but not perfect camera

By Yahoo Shopping User  Dec 1, 2009

    ### It takes great pictures outdoor and in, flash pops out whenever its needed. Video is very good in mpeg4 format to reduce file size. Using outside in bright sun it's hard to see the image (as it is with all rear lcd only cameras) a small eyepiece woul...d sure be nice but can be worked around by shading the top a bit with your hand. Lens cap stays on well but you have to take it off before powering up or it will stall the camera motor and nobody likes a dangly lens cover flapping around. Ive had one for about 3 months and just ordered another for a family member. A bit bigger that the normal fit in your pocket cam but your not gonna get a nice high zoom without the lens being bigger. All i all a very nice camera for the money. This and the panasonc z3 were my favorites but it seemed silly to spend an extra 50 bucks for 2X more zoom. Memory stick is a little more exspensive but the price is coming down, bought a 4 gig on black friday at J&R for 15 bucks Read more Less

This is a great camera for the price. You get a lot of great features for this camera, which are not available on other cameras for the same or higher prices.

  • Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H20 Review

    Imaging Resource

Not quite shirt-pocketable, the small and light the Sony H20 packs a 10x zoom into a design that's fun to use and takes great shots too. Its 10-megapixel sensor impresses with good image quality, and the Sony H20's autofocus speed rivals some digital SLRs. We were particularly impressed with its sharp corners at wide-angle, and its image quality was good enough for 13x19-inch prints. Though it doesn't have the widest wide-angle lens, the Sony Cyber-shot H20 ranges from 38 to 380mm, a very long telephoto for such a small camera. Clearly we were impressed by the Sony H20's capabilities, and pleased to see that it has a 720p HD movie mode to boot. Its reasonable price is our final amazement, making it a clear Dave's Pick.
