  • Great value for the Price

    By Louis G  Nov 25, 2008

    ### This model is right in the middle of Samsung's LCD product line. It's much better than the lower end model but the picture quality is very close to the higher end models. The high end models (650 & 750) have more bells and whistles but if you are loo...king for a great picture quality without the additional cost of a fancy bezel or value adds then this is a great TV for you. • Not bad at all

    By Chris  Dec 24, 2008

    ### The picture is great, couldn't ask for much more without paying a LOT more. The sound however is median to comparison. The Sonys sound WAY better, but that's what the surround sound system is for. Not bad for the value, but just a little high priced....A 3 year service plan is not a bad idea either. Sears support is at 100%. Quality product and would buy again Read more Less

    ### BEWARE. The price and clear picture will lure you in, but if you need ANYTHING from customer service get ready for a horrible ride of ineptitude, disinterest, and utter frustration. Do a thorough Google search of "samsung" "customer" "service" and an...y other key words you think might be of help. Horrible, horrible! Worst CS ever! Read more Less

  • Samsung Products are gargage

    By Shawna  Dec 19, 2012

    ### We bought this TV 4 years ago and it was great. However, about a month ago the screen went all red. I turned it off and back on a few times and it eventually started working again until last night where the screen went green and now it will not go on.... Called Samsung and they said it was the capacitor. A tech came out to fix it. He said the problem was probably not the capacitor, but replaced it anyway so he could get paid for coming out. Long story short, between a Samsung washer and this TV, both only last a few years, I will never buy another Samsung product. Garbage!!!! Read more Less

PROS: (1) displays full 1080p HD video in perfect detail, nothing lost or blurred (2) looks fine for most viewers right out of the box, no need to adjust it (3) fast enough to be used with fast-paced video games, good response (4) plenty of inputs for both newer and legacy equipment, works with everything and so many ports you probably wont need a receiver (5) does reasonably well with sports and fast-paced movies, not much blur or stutter ... CONS: (1) sound is very poor, everything is washed out and difficult to hear (2) colors never get very realistic, tend to be overly saturated from a videophiles perspective (3) video upscaling of ...
