I think this cd is a little more grown up and not so bubblegum like the last one they put out. it about being broken hearted.could be better.
### I listened to this CD and found that this is definately the worst CD they have produced. I think Darius' solo work was heavily infused into this (his solo album blew big time). The songs have no replay value. There isn't one that would make you hit...repeat on the cd player. I do like a couple of songs but I can't recommend this CD. Read more Less
I guess they are so bad that not even a mediocore tribute c.d. has been made. If they have turned to rap/rock the end is truely near.
### The H&BF albums have progressively gotten worse, with the exception of "Musical Chairs" which IMHO was better than "Fairweather Johnson". This one just seems too slow & lacks the energy you'd expect from the band. I'd still love to see them live, t...hough. And, to be fair, I've only listened to it twice. It may get better with a few spins. The production sounds bad as well. It doesn't have a clear sound. Could be the stream I'm listening to from Amazon.com, though, so I'll reserve judgement on that until I get the disc. And before some pinhead says I haven't heard the album, I'm listening to it right now. Buy it at Amazon.com & you can listen anytime via streaming from your digital library. Read more Less
What a song. Originally recorded by The Continental Drifters and written By Susan Cowsill (Yes The Cowsills). Darius does a great job with this song. Even though Susan's version kicks butt. I highly recommend.... Rich (CaptainSad)
### Darius and the blowhorns doing hardcore rap/rock....I am not to sure this was a good comeback idea. Not to rock their jive armada but this does not fit in with their target audience of drunk yuppies and college pre-prepsters. We will see what happen...ds...good luck guys.....oh...and last night was AMAZING!! Read more Less
