4 out of 5 stars

  • Great until it breaks

    By Amanda  Mar 28, 2011

The tv worked great for a couple of years. This would have been fine if I hadn't spent over $2000 on the tv. The speakers blew and we don't even know how or when. The lamp went out (which is supposedly normal). The thing that irritates me is the "whi...te spot syndrome" on the tv. It looks like stars all over the tv. Samsung admits there is a problem in some of their models, but refuses to add this model to the list of ones they will repair. They will not even make note of my call. I am trying to find out who makes these decisions so this one could be added to the list. Overall, this tv is beautiful. It has given us 3 great years. I bought Samsung because of the name and quality. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of customer service. For a $2000 tv, I would not purchase or recommend this tv to anyone. Read more Less
