    ### I PICKED UP THIS CAMERA FOR MY WIFE TRIP TO ASIA, AND IT IS THE BEST CAMERA I EVER BOUGHT. PICTURE QUALITY IS GREAT IT'S FITS IN ALMOST ANY POCKET AND BECAUSE IT USES SD MEMORY IT THE BEST LOW COST MEMORY TO BUY FOR YOUR STUFF. I PICKED UP A 2GIG SD...CARD FOR ABOUT 70 BUCKS AND AT 6 MEGA PIX I CAN GET ABOUT 500 PICKS ON THE CAMERA. SO IF YOU WANT GREAT PICS AT A LOW PRICE, YOUR SEARCH IS OVER. Read more Less

  • Great Little Camera

    By Dalia  Oct 16, 2006

    ### I picked up this camera at Radioshack for $179.00 (Refurbish) but in compleatly new condition.. Me owning previous camera from all kinds of company's.. And with my previous expirience to a kodak Z760, I think in Casio felt short.. CASIO... Super sma...ll, great to carry around everywhere. Nice 2.5 LCD - The image on the LCD is kinda bad when in doors, The image on LIVE VIEW looks grainy and blue -ish. Also it's kinda difficult to get a really focused shot.. But I found changin the AF AREA from SPOT to MULTI really helped... Also taking pictures with the Auto Flash, turns up harsh in skin tones makes them extreamly bright. So Whem I'm taking pictures of people I have to change the flash to SOFT Flash.. Also.. The Camera is kinda Slow showing the live image on the LCD.. so when im taking a picture it takes a little time to focus a mobving subject. Battey life is good if not great based on the casio, it takes 180 shot's with a single charge.. When I bought it it lasted about 1 1/2 hour turned on. so yeah it's good.. Comparing it with my Kodak I could take over 300 and still have some battery left.. VIDEO. Video features is nice.. but the colors turn out really bad.. I changed the options to HQ, supposely the best quality,,,, The colors are horrible.. very grainy, blue-ish red -ish colors.. and a 1 to 2 minute video is almost 80.MB that is so stupid ! Well ill give it a plus because it's a AVI video so you can edit them with Windows software.. but all that memory for that little video is stupid. ---------------- Bottom line.. Great little camera for starter's .. Im into photography and all that So I do know about it.. Comparing to my previous Kodak.. I'm thinking about returning it!. But for starters it;s good, since im used to controling f-stops and shutter's spead and ISO's im better of with KODAK... but this is a good camera..and does let you control ISO! well I don't know if im gonna retunrn it but hand's down.. It's not what I expected.. Im 17 so I'm kinda scared of retunrning it because I begged my dad for a whole week to buy it,, and know to tell him that I don;t like it :S, haha Read more Less

  • A great point and shoot camera

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 2, 2007

    ### I purchased this camera a little over a year ago. Love it!! No special program to download. Just transfer photos with provided USB cable and save to your hard drive. The old camera I had, you had to wait a couple of seconds for the picture to save. W...ith this one, almost instantly. That's what I was looking for. It may not be for the professional photographer, but it's great for the everyday picture taker. Read more Less

  • Casio Ex-z60

    By AnooshaK  Jan 2, 2007

    ### I've had this camera for a few months now, and its pretty good. You have to be pretty careful about where you take it though, because one stupid drop and this camera needs a trip to the repair shop. Image quality is pretty good as long as you've got a...really steady hand. A lot of times the images will look nice and clear on the screen, but when you upload them they are actually more blurred than you thought they'd be. There are plenty of shot selections, even some for ebay products, text, and food. It can take videos and they come out great. The sound, and quality is awesome. This camera would be nicer with a little more zoom, but the one its already got is decent. It's easy to use, and its good for people who aren't so savvy with cameras. Read more Less

    The Imaging Resource

Images on the Casio EX-Z60 are captured with the combination of a 1/2.5 six megapixel CCD imager, and an Exilim-branded 3x optical zoom lens that provides a fairly standard 35mm-equivalent focal range of 38 - 114mm. Other features include 8.3MB of built-in storage memory, SD / MMC storage slot, NTSC / PAL video and USB 2.0 High Speed data connectivity (rather faster than the USB 2.0 Full-Speed / USB 1.1 connections still offered on some cameras), as well as a built-in flash and a macro mode that allows focusing as close as 10 centimeter.
