  • Best 6.1 Megapixel Camera for under $200.

    By TM  Sep 18, 2006

    ### The camera is easy to use and figure out but check the manual anyway. The picture quality is very good. I put one on my desktop and it looks as good as any other wallpaper shot. It really is a good buy for the money. I recommend the IC 15-minute rec...hargeable AA batteries from Ray-O-Vac or Radio Shack as well as Radio Shack's A/C adapter for digital cameras. It's easy to upload pics to a computer using the USB cord, or an SD card reader. I use a 1MB SD card that works great and can fit 893 pictures on it or 42 minutes worth of video. The video needs good light when in use but to me, it's just a bonus. It has some good features like "undo delete" in case you accidentally delete a picture you want to keep but it will only save the last one taken. You can make pictures using a printer dock printing from the computer or ordering online. Can't say enough about the value for the money. Read more Less

  • So Easy, Grandma Can Use It

    By David  Jan 3, 2007

    ### After I damage CX7430, I got C643 and love it. It's great for the money but easy to use. The KodakShare photo software is great w/ it's editing features. The camera is easy to use w/ it's mulit scene modes:close up, landscape, portrait etc. I like...the 'blurry picture alert' icon to warn you out of focus pictures. Only problem I have is the red-eye reduction is poor & shutter lag. And I didn't get a video cable for T.V. hook up. So if you Grandma needs a digital camera & she don't mind learning something new. Go for C643. Read more Less

  • Loving my new Easy Share

By Mariena Silvestry  Oct 19, 2006

    ### I just bought an EasyShare C643 and so far I'm loving it. I have an early model of one of the EasyShare for beginners and I felt like I was ready to graduate to a more 'complicated' camera. I purchased an Olympus which turned out to be really bad. Th...e quality of the pictures was bad, the images were blurry, even when using Auto mode and flash. I was a bit hesistant to buy a new camera and then I saw this one and I knew this was it. I've been shooting at every little thing since I bought it and I love the little hand thing that tells you whether there is a lot of movement when the picture is taken. The macro setting is pretty good and the viewfinder is big, which is a plus for me as I tend to have a hard time looking at pictures after taking them with a tiny viewfinder. The size is good and it feels strong in your hands. Read more Less

    ### Picture quality is good, data transfer speed is OK..overall I got the best what I was looking for..only drawback in the product is absence of one touch on/off switch..I have to surpass all modes to switch off the camera..Overall its good value for mo...ney as compared to other competetive models..perhaps this is the only model which has such LCD in the similar segment. • I loved this camera........too bad I dropped it

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 5, 2006

    ### I shopped around for cameras and finally came across this one, 6.1 mega pix, croping and editing on the camera without losing the original pic, can be used for everyday pics or to even shoot a football game w/o the pic being blurry. This camera was g...reat, and then 2 weeks after purchasing I dropped it and it won't even come back on. I'm looking for another one as we speak. I want the same one though b/c all of the other cameras i've looked at do not compare in value and the amount of features this camera has. It will definitely be another C643 for me!! I miss my camera! Read more Less
