    ### This is probably the best small GPS ever designed. New GPS's have color and more memory, but lack the versatility of the GPS V. This is a perfect GPS for the motorcycle due to the low profile horizontal view. Be sure and buy a Touratech mount for the...motorcycle though. This GPS is easy to use and works in very dense cover. The Sportsmans wearhouse has them for $199. Nothing can touch it for the money. These sold new for $599. Try one out, you won't be dissapointed. Read more Less

  • Good GPS for your hike or your drive

By Ed Carlo Garcia  Dec 6, 2005

    ### I've had this GPS for 2.5 yrs and it works great in the Bay Area, CA. You can change the orientation so you can use it for driving in the horizontal position, or hiking in vertical position. The Garmin maps allow you to plan your course on the PC and...then use your waypoint plan when driving. It's great when you're looking for a house. There's only two things that I wish it had: more memory and fast processor. The processor speed is not much of an issue in the bay area, but when used in L.A., it takes calculates 5 mins to calculate to a destination since the streets are more complex. 19MB allows me most of SF and the south bay up to Monterey county. In LA, I get much less coverage. I would have to reload the maps if I wanted different areas. Read more Less
