In order for us to properly place your store on product guides like these, we ask that you send us some specific bits of information about the products you sell.  If you typically update your store by CSV database upload, you can just add to your file a new field called YPATH. (If you build your store manually, you can edit this field in your Yahoo! Store editor by overriding the ypath variable for each item page.)

Within the ypath field, we currently ask you to provide the "department" or Yahoo! Shopping category. For Computer and Electronic merchants, these departments are:

• Computers and Software
• Electronics and Camera
• Video Games

For placement on Yahoo Shopping Product Guides, you must add the additional required fields:

• manufacturer (required for all)
• manufacturer_part_no (required for Computers and recommended for Electronics, especially Digital Cameras)
• model_no (required for Computers and Electronics)
• upc (required for Video Games, recommended for all)
• refurbished (required if selling any refurbished products)

Please make sure to include all required fields for every product you send. Products that are missing these required fields, or have incorrect information will not show up on Product Guides. Correctly filling out the required fields can dramatically increase your exposure on Yahoo! Shopping Product Guides and in Shopping Search.
