Excellent buy!
Pros: Vivid color and dark blacks
Cons: Very average speakers
Even though it's a 720p model you won't be able to tell in a 42" screen. I've compared them at the store. My brother wife demanded they buy a $4k LCD TV and it doesn't look anywhere as near as good this...Is that crazy or what? Plasmas still beats LCD on viewing angle. You can be at almost any angle and the picture is clear as can be. This TV is also one of the best to upconvert old TV signals at 480i that I have seen. It also downconverts 1080 very well. Everything looks great. An awesome deal! Oh, the speakers are kinda sucky....very tinny but if you turn the 'bass' on they are good enough. ...
