Despite being shorter than the four-part OAV series, Macross Plus Movie Edition still blows away the competition with its digital 3D animation and pulse-pounding dogfight scenes. New music by Yoko Kanno brings more life to the anime. Of course, there aren't much of extras in the DVD, but if you want something good for your stereo system, Macross Plus Movie Edition is worth it.
