Philips HDD120 MP3 Player
Pros: Has great features like an internal radio tunner.
Cons: Slow, unresponsive, bulky, and easily scratched.
I bought this product in October of 05. I am sorry to say this but I hated the device and after only a few days took it back to the store that I purchased it from and turned it in for an ipod. The features that are offered on the product are fantastic from the voice recorder to the internal am/fm radio tuner. The overall look of the machine is appealing to the eye and the technology used to interface with it is very cool in principal but in practice the heat sensitive touch screen was mediocre at best and you inevitably scratched the surface of the device while flipping through songs. The biggest problem that I had with the machine is that it lagged whenever it switched between songs and it was very slow to reasoned to the commands that I gave it. Now I got over waiting for computers to do what I ask of them a long time ago. I get annoyed by a one second or even half second wait for a response from my computer and I expect great performance from every piece of technology that I own. I realize that that is a little extreme and that there are a lot of people that the wait doesn't bother them. But even for those people I don't recommend this MP3 player and would suggest that you look at the 30GB ipod video which is a far superior product with a cheaper price tag. ...

Rachael Yamagata - Happenstance
Pros: One of the best singers that I have heard in years.
Cons: Not a lot of music availible.
Rachael Yanagata has a voice that only a few are blessed with and one of even fewer that have the chance to share that gift with the rest of the world. I would put her on the level vocally with Eva Cassidy, and Sarah McLachlan. The creativeness and ability to switch from laid back artful ballads to rock and roll makes her unique in the world of cookie cutter pop stars that have taken over the music market. Though she crosses lines and ignores boundaries she truly shines when she sings her slower tunes seeming to let out pieces of her soul that you feel fortunate to be able to enjoy. I highly recommend this CD and anything else of hers that you can get your hands on. ...

HP Pavilion Entertainment Notebook PC
Pros: Great features
Cons: Bettery life not the greatest
I love this notebook. For the price it is chucked full of software and features. I have kept it stream lined so that I don't run into the problems that are so easy to run into with PCs of over packing them with a bunch of garbage that you don't use. The system can be kept for days by putting it into standby before you have to shut down and clear the buffers. Over all I am beyond satisfied with the product and with most HP products. I am the head of IT for my company and I buy their products for my company. ...

Apple's 30 GB ipod Video
Pros: Love the video Pod Casts
Cons: It scratches very easily even when polished with soft cloth
This ipod is one of the best technology purchases that I have made in a long time. It has the best user interface of any comparable hand held media player and the screen on it is amazing as far as color and clarity are concerned. The 30GB ipod's critics don't think that anyone is going to use the video function because the screen is to small and they could watch the same media on their computer monitor. For those of us that take public transportation to work trust me you will use the video feature any chance you get and when you have the ipod a foot and a half from your face I have heard that it is the same as looking at a 43" TV from across a room at 10'. All and all the ipod is a 9.5 out of 10 in my book. ...

When I went looking for a wirless mouse for my laptop I took my time. I looked at reviews online, searched out the advice of my friends, and went to the store to look at them in person. Of the dozens of mice that I looked at there were only two that I was interested in at the end and I chose the one from microsoft and let me tell you I am glad that I made the choice. This mouse has been nothing but good to me the entire time that I have had it. The battery life is astounding, in fact I have not had to cange the battery in the mouse since I have bought it nearly three months ago and I use it a lot! I would recomend this and really any other Mircosoft mouse to anyone. They are definatly worth the money. ...
