Cons: No controls on player
This replaced a two year old Magnavox which had no HDMI output. Great sound and picture quality for the price. The performance is on par with more expensive players. Read the manual as there are many options for optimizing performance. The only con is other than on/off/play and eject there are no controls on the player itself. Don't lose the remote! ...
