Is it a prototype?????????

Pros: Ha!

Cons: I bought it.

For the first few months I owned the device, I was only happy to feed the insatiable appetite this thing had for batteries. The video quality was excellent for the money, but the audeo was hardly audible. Still image quality is anything but 5 megapixels. I have far older cameras which produce far clearer images.
Today the camera activates only when it feels like it; about three times per ten tries (30%). When the thing does turn on, I watch a blank screen for about five minutes before its epic start up screen animation (totally uneeded mind you.) I have the unit set to record video and it displays the playback mode. If I push the video button to start recording, it will record the playback screen!
$100.00 is very cheap for a video camera, but I'd say this thing isn't worth putting on the shelve until it can be sold for about $20.00. Otherwise, spend the money and save yourself some grief; get the warranty if you choose not to heed the rest of this review. ...
