Panda Internet Security 2007

Pros: small memory consumption

Cons: customer service, reliability & stability, overall

I Recently (within the past 18 hours) wasted over seventy dollars downloading Panda Internet Security 2007 to find out that it is infested with bugs and leaves you without a possible way to connect to the internet (with the exception of uninstalling the program altogether), although not being able to connect to the internet at all is in fact the greatest way to protect one's computer from nasties, I wanted to be able to surf the internet with peace of mind; instead I was left with a piece of something else. In futile to efforts to elucidate my getting ripped off I attempted all of the possible solutions listed in Panda's knowledge dump. All in all I had to uninstall the program many times, download the "newest version' which ended up being the exact same file (using up my hard drive space), obtain a new driver, attempt to contact them, re-install, uninstall, etc... All of my attempts to contact them either by telephone, e-mail, or their auto submission on their website were in vain (for some reason the user name and password I was given do not work on their website and they wont respond to my e-mails). It seems as though there is absolutely no one working for Panda.
Worst of all this program cost me $70 dollars. I should have just gotten NOD32, would've been cheaper and needless to say WORKING. ...
