Great Film
Pros: Smart love story, great characters
Cons: no one knows about it!
I love this movie. I too have read some of Feynman's books but I like to look at movies separate from the book. Judging this movie by itself, it excellent. Matthew Broderick and Patricia Arquette give these characters such demension and life. (I always cry at the end and I've seen it at least 20 times) It shows enough of Fenyman to get a feel for his character but Broderick makes it his own. Also, as a side note, Matthew's mother wrote the screenplay and he directed it. I love the opening scene and how the film incorporates the sub-plot of the bomb throughout the love story. It's more than a love story. If I say anymore I'll spoil it so just go watch it for yourself. Just beware. Watch it without comparing it to Feynman's books or else you will be dissapointed. ...
