great sports game
The graphics are fantastic - the players look like their real-life counterparts down to their tatoos, and the figures are all-super detailed. The variety of game cameras and zoom settings lets you view the game from any seat in the house. The sound is good although the soundtrack gets annoying. The variety of game play modes (franchise, season, one-on-one) makes for variety, as does the ability to change up rosters and create players. The control is probably the best feature of the game. Gameplay is fast but not too fast to be unrealistic. Using the right thumbstick you can execute almost any playground move - fakes, crossovers, and so on. ... -

one of the best xbox games
11 of 11 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful Star Wars KOTOR is one of the best Xbox games available and the best Star Wars game out there. The story is expansive and engrossing. The graphics are in places superb (especially the reflection off the armor suits) and are overall very good (but not the best out there). The movies are great, especially the scenes of the giant Sith battleship silently orbiting Taris. The sound is great - all of aliens have their own realistic voices unique to their races, voices fade as you walk away, or sound muffled if the person talking to you isn't facing you. The controls are pretty good; the semi-turn based fighting can be annoying, but fighting isn't always the focus of the game. The environments are vast and plentiful, as are the items you can pick up and use. There are multiple side missions that are often as much or more fun than the main mission. Characters are well-drawn and detailed. My main character wears a special visor, battle armor, energy shields, and two lightsabers, one in each hand. All of this combines to make KOTOR an outstanding game that is more like an interactive epic movie experience than "just a game." ... -

great controls and fun to play
2 of 2 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful Obi-Wan on Xbox is a mixed bag that overall is fun to play and enjoyable. The graphics range from very good in spots to bad in others and are just fair overall. The sound is good but Obi-Wan's voice is nasal and whiney. The best part is the controls - you use the right thumbstick to control your lightsaber, and by using a trigger, you engage the force, which gives you access to all sorts of Jedi powers and deadlier lightsaber moves. You also have a full range of acrobatic moves as well. The game is a little short and mostly consists of romping through city streets or corridors killing everything. Overall, it's fun for a Star Wars fan. I'd give it a "4" but my browser is not letting me unclick the "5" radio button. ... -

beautful graphics and pretty fun to play
The graphics are among the best of any game on Xbox. The playbacks after the races are almost photorealistic. The sound is just okay. It's easy to learn to race the cars but difficult to master. A good combination of arcade racing and simulation. ...
buy Jedi Starfighter instead
Starfighter is a decent game for $19.95, especially if you're a Star Wars fan. The graphics are okay but not overly detailed. The sound is good like in most Star Wars games. The control is okay, but you'll find yourself flying in circles a lot. The whole story revolves around a confused plot on the sidelines of Star Wars episode I. I own Starfighter and I've rented Jedi Starfighter, and basically Jedi Starfighter is Starfighter with Jedi powers. If you're a Star Wars fan and are looking at either game, pick Jedi. ...
