Could be a another classic
Pros: Riffs, music,
Cons: none
This sounds like old slayer and thats a good thing, it sounds like a follow up to Seasons, only took 16 years. LOL. But its a good album, straight forward and its good to have Dave behind the skins again like the old days. Tom singing sounds better than it has in quite a while. It stands up nicely next to Reign in Blood and Seasons in the abyss. ...

a disappointment
Pros: can't think of any
Cons: music is boring, reminds of why i didn't like bruce's early cds
I had such high hopes for this cd. I love the last two and thought they were better than anything Maiden had done in the mid to late 90's. I though Adrian and Roy Z had jelled so well on the last two cds and Bruce's writing skills were some of his best ever. Well I knew Adrian didn't play on this CD but I wasn't sure how much of a impact this would make. This CD has more of the music style of Accident at birth and Chemical Weeding but seemed to lack focus or have memorible riffs or solos, it reminded me alot of Balls to Picasso. I tried to like that CD but it would always get boring, same with this one. I really tried to like it but the more I listened the more I kept stopping the cd and saying this sucks. Its too bad because I loved his last CDs so much. I finally sold this CD. Something I don't do unless I don't like them. I still love Bruce , I still love Maiden but I would avoid this CD if you checking it out. ...

Another chapter in the life of Iron Maiden
Pros: Music, lyrics, its progressive
Cons: Its a long album
This is quite a different album than the last few. Its more of a progressive album and it takes a few listens to hear different parts. But I think that it does fit nicely in the Maiden catalog. I think my favorites right now would be "brighter than a thousand suns, Pilgrim, Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg, and Legacy. But that could change by next week. Its a album that grows on you for sure. Also pick up the bonus dvd version if you can , its fun to watch beside the signs of making the CD. ...

classic cd by a classic band
Pros: music, lyrics, hooks
Cons: None
Motorhead are a classic band and after 30 years are still going strong. This cd is back when the original lineup was still together. Its a classic cd, the title track is one of their best songs ever. Also Love my like a reptile and the chase is better than the catch are classics. A great CD to pick up if you are just getting into the band. ...

Very Cool underground band
Pros: Cool music, lyrics, moods
Cons: none
I love Deceased, they are a way underrated band. I laugh when people call them death metal though, they sound more thrash to me. But I love their music. They have cool riffs and inject melodys. King writes very cool lyrics. I think this is my favorite cd by them but I like them all. Though the new one "as the wierd travel on" is growing on me and might soon take the top spot. If you like metal, thrash metal band that is underground and writes what they like , check them out. ...

Classic Cd
Pros: Great Riffs, Insane drumming
Cons: none
I love Nile. I have all their CDs. I was torn on which of their CDs I like the best, but it usually comes back to Black Seeds. Though their follow up was pretty close. I love death metal but to me Nile sound differnt from everyone else. The Egyptian flavor adds a nice element to the music. I always feel like I'm on a journey though Egypt with Nile as my guide. The riffs and the blast beats are so cool. I hope they keep of the good work and keep kicking ass for many years to come. ...

Classic CD
Pros: Great riffs, lyrics. clearer vocals than the past
Cons: none
First of all this is my favorite CC cd of all the chris barnes CDs, even though I prefer George I like Chris, but I prefer Chris in Six Feet Under, that being said, this is a great CD. Adding Rob started the movement of the band being more technical which I love. Fucked with a knife is a my favorite song, I find myself singing the song and humming the riff even after I stop listening to the song. Also whats up with all this people ditching death metal, why write a review if you don't even like that kind of music. I listen to all kinds of music, metal , jazz, punk, blues, and like all kinds of metal , old school, thrash, power, black and death. I also play guitar and I can tell you this is not easy music to play. Either you get it or you don't. CC is a great band and I believe gets better with each release. Thats why they are still around 16 years after their first CD. ...

New Cd rocks
Pros: great riffs, lyrics.
Cons: None with the album, but album cover should have been better like the pic on the inside
Great CD, first without Jack Owen. They don't miss a beat. The production is great on Rob and Pat chug the riffs. My favorite songs is Make them Suffer, I can't stop playing it. Listen and you'll know why. Its a worth the price to pick up this CD. ...
Another Classic from Arch Enemy
Pros: Music, lyrics. Angelia's voice
Cons: none
Finally after more than a two year wait Arch Enemy have released their new cd. And during that time Chris has returned to play beside his brother once again. I am glad because the two make a serious guitar force. The new CD kicks off with a bang with Blood on your hands. Its a nice fast track and Angela sounds amazing on this CD. She did not use any vocal effects on this CD and she sounds great. Overall the CD sounds aggressive and raw but still like Arch Enemy. I get to see them live Oct 12 in San Francisco and I can't wait. I saw them there in 06 and its been a tough wait for them to come back. If you love metal and like it aggressive with lots of riffs and solos you'll love this CD. Go out and buy it. ...
