An unbelievable camera for the casual user

Cons: pictures pretty poor when digital zoom is heavily employed
This is one great camera. My experience with digital cameras is limited, so have to take that into consideration. The touted 1/2 second startup time is right no, and man does it help in getting those shots that come about and are gone in a flash. The pictures so far are fantastic, and I got a gig SD memory card with it so I can take as many pictures (on the best setting) as I can possibly use on a trip and keep them all stored without need to download....oh ya, battery life seems above average as well get about 100-125 pictures on one charge. Oh, and if you pick one up, consider using a padded sunglass case as a camera case. I got one for that purpose...slides right in with any extras neeeded and fits nicely in a pocket for easy access on trips, vacation, or such. I rarely write reviews, but felt this camera deserved one. ...
