Cons: none that i could find
Bought it at Walmart for $169. After trying Sony, Philips, Toshiba, Zenith, and Magnavox machines (all within a span of two weeks), this one worked the best. Has cable hookup so you can easily record from the tv. Quality is great on vcr and dvd. Plays DVD + RW and DVD - RW as well as all other formats. Will format your DVD's even if they have been pre-recorded. You won't find a better buy for a combination machine. ...
