Cons: GPS unit not waterproof; software not for Macs
Timex seems to have listened to what people have been saying about the earlier versions of the Bodylink system. The new 5E671 with Navman II GPS nd HRM delivers almost almost everything the triathlete wants in an easy to use package.
Set up was easy. Take it out of the box, turn on the bits, strap them on, wait a few minutes for the GPS signal to be acquired and you're ready. Awesome.
Only bit missing seems to be max heart rate reached - either that or I haven't seen it in the manual.
For me the only real drawback is the lack of support for the Mac platforms. Software that only works on the PC is a bummer.
But otherwise, a great set up, easy to use and fun to train with. ...
