Unexpectedly robust at a low price

Cons: Speaker and battery configuration panels are difficult to find
I was looking for our first home notebook. I knew I wanted builtin wifi, at least 1GB RAM, as hefty an integrated video adapter as possible and an SDMedia card reader. I looked online and then perused all the local stores. Office Depot had the best descriptions of each model. They identified the RAM and processor in detail, going to far as to recognize the amount of Level-II cache and bus speeds. It was this information that clued me into what a package this notebook is. I was stunned to see it on sale at a price lower than others with 1/2 the horsepower. Of course, it was sold out at the store but I was able to order it online. It came with Vista Home Premium which it runs handily (thanks to the 1GB of RAM). I even run Half Life on it with no problems. The builtin WiFi adapter is much better than the one in the older Toshiba I use at the office and on the road. ...
